    Hey All,

Just got a G1 Blitzwing. The only question I have is how does the Turret stay on tight? It goes on, but doesn't click in or anything. So what am I doing wrong.

To be more clear, when it is on his back, it is loose, Not the screw T part, but the Turret itself.

Ages since i've owned a G1 BW, but it's not uncommon IIRC.

Is the little T-nub turned so that it's perpendicular to the hole?

If it is and it's still loose, then it's probably just worn out.

I did notice the screw was loose, so I tightened it. Will that create friction on the turret? Is that how it holds? I don't want to over tighten it.

Its very common. If your feeling saucy, you can remove the "tee" mount and put a dab of super glue on the bottom side of each finger where the unit comes in contact with the turret. Once dry, reassemble, this should make the turret tighter.

Good idea, I tightened the screw and saw that it held better, that will be the next step.

Got both G1 Blitzwing and Astrotrain for $50 shipped. So cannot really complain, both are in amazingly good shape for being as old as they are.
