I love these 25th joes.
can't wait for stalker and snowjob.
Man, I want to bust my Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow out of their cards...but I won't.
buy another set and open them. they are just wicked.
These figures are amazing. If I had a camera and knew how to post pics online I would show the awesome stuff I have been able to do with my figs after I whittled away some of the excess plastic around the joints. Duke looks absolutely amazing when you get him to hold his M-16 correctly. This line reeks of awesome!
I think at this point, it's a good thing you're stamping your pics those are from the 5-packs, huh? I like the commando snake-eyes, as I only have the original and vvv ninja ones. have pics been shown yet of snow job?
I finally found these today, but didn't have the cash to get them ,but next time I see Snake Eeyes and Storm Shadow, they're miiiine. These pics certainly don't hurt.
I think I should've picked up the set that I found.
Those beats are so ffffresh. SSSssssssssnap!!!!
i got both sets, and sold the figures out of ewach i didn't want. i'm not going after the whole set, only the ones i want, so i was able to recover what equalled a box set, by selling the 5 figures i didn't want, and still have the sound boxes from both sets.
i never liked ninja Snake Eyes, so i had to get the box set for him and scarlet, and i really wanted baroness and Stormshadow. and kept the foot soldier for kicks.
th eonly carded figs i want will be stalker, snowjob, and a few other wave 3
i found single carded cobra commander snake eyes and storm shadow today. bought commander and snake eyes. not a huge Joe fan but there are a few characters i really like. found them at different KBs, so check those if your hunting. haven't seen any anywhere else.
BTW, i don't really like their thigh joints. wish they were either straight, or had a rotation in the upper thigh. other than that their great.
My cobra commanders thighs are really floppy though, any idea how to tighten them a bit?
If you need to tighten, you might try unscrewing them and putting some hot glue on the metal ball, but I haven't tried it yet, but will be soon on my incredibly loose Gung-Ho.
Where are these being found at? I can't find them anywhere
Damn pro's making the rest of our pictures look bad.
Hire this man Hasbro.
i think technique wise youre very polished but i always find something off abt the posing of your figs/overall composition. it could be attributed to differing taste tho so im not sure whether its something you can improve (taste being a subjective quality).
that said, in regards to posing, the pic with SE and SS is a good example of how you can improve. note how SS shouldve been splayed apart and his arms look kinda off too in particular how the right one is bending.
I'm not that great with that kinda stuff so let me know how it goes.
Well, I cut the crotches to make the figures sit better, and the thigh sections are two pieces with a little rubber disc washer that is supposed to cause resistance on the metal ball joint. I would figure that if you put a minimal ammount of glue on either this washer or on the ball itself, the joint would become much stiffer. I'll update you guys who are concerned with the joint looseness when I attempt to fix my Gung-Ho figure soon.
good stuff right there! Do you use a tripod for these up close pics? Im sure your lens is pretty good to. I like the poses.
Man I really want those 25th Joes but they still can't be found at my area. I want SE the most but now I want to get the 5 pack as well for both Joe and Cobra. Are they available at all the retail stores?
They aren't a store exclusive, if that's what you mean, Pred.
Anyway... fantastic pics! I thought LeonardoTDragon over at Battlelines was the only one who could capture the essence of these figs until now... great work, wheeljaxx!
