In my opinion, 15-16 inch tall grimlock is perfect. Makes the size comparison closer to G1 Grimlock vs G1 Optimus. Plus when transformed into T-Rex mode he will be closer to an actual gigantic T-Rex (~30-40 ft, Jurassic Park size) rather than this HUGE 68' T-Rex looking Monster in the movie which is WAY OUT OF PROPORTION. I think Optimus riding Grimlock size wise should be like a person riding a horse.

Not to nick pick, but as for this screen accuracy of this 3D rendering, I think the sharp teeth towards the back of the jaw need to be a little shorter as well as the horns on the head. The rib cage needs to not protrude as far as it is shown. If they can at least make Grimlock, Slug (13-14" tall in robot mode) and Strafe (10-11" tall in robot mode) that would do it for me. Three movie Dinobits would be awesome.

Hopefully they can make these dinobots very rugged metallic (antique silver) looking like in the movie.

Anyone have updates when this Grimlock is supposed to be released?

 

tbh I think something closer to 20 inches would have been good. But seeing how expensive these 3rd party figures are,It would be like 500+

Yes, he is huge. I have him. He towers over any figure i have. Smaller than Metroplex though.

 

Probably not going to be that big. Nor would I really want it to be. Something the same size or a bit bigger then their Sixshot would be fine.

Mp Soundwave stopped FT from releasing their version of Soundwave.

Since the release of Mp Inferno, we've not heard of any updates from XTB regarding their Dante.

 

I suspect this one is going to be a MP Grimlock... The Studio series will be "CHUG"
