It's official CN has lost their mind by not getting this like they did with Family Guy.

Futurama, Venture Brothers, and one or two decent animes is all they have. If they lose Futurama, they better get Korgoth into production real quick.

    Sweet zombie Jesus!

Glad to hear Futurama is coming back, but I'm concerned that they won't be able to recapture the quality of the original version, after such a long hiatus (Family Guy, for instance, went from tolerable to crap after the return). Hopefully, it'll turn out for the best.

Given that Comedy Central doesn't get Futurama until 2008, Adult Swim has a bit of time to get a replacement ready (they'll need the time, given the glacial pace at which [as] produces new episodes of anything).

I would rather sit alone in my room with my Season 1-4 box sets of Futurama and cry myself to sleep than have Futurama come back the same way family guy did.

I can see it now, "hey remember how we were so funny before we got cancelled, we'll we're just the same way now and we are gonna prove it to you by doing shit that makes even less sense than it did before we got canned in the first place so we can make the networks sorry they ever considered bringing a show back from cancellation. We're still gonna go back into space, but this time there will be even less reason to do so in the first place, for instance, when one of us needs to use the restroom we'll just fly into space to do it that way it'll be so freakin funny that you'll laugh so hard that you'll forget what a piece of shit we've become!!!!!"

Then again, Futurama was never as reference heavy as Family Guy, and it's definitly got funnier people behind it than Family Guy, so I'm sure that they could come back without upping the ante and making a big deal about the fact that they are back.

    Excellent news.

Between this and the forthcoming season two of Venture Brothers and the ongoing love that is South Park, my demented animation future is very nice.

    HELL YEAH.

This, combined with finishing exams and Australia moving through to round 2 of the world cup has made my day.

I like the new Family Guy. The only problem I see is how heavily they lay on the "Evrybody hates Meg" gags. The episode where Stewie faced his half-brother for domination of the playground was one of my favorites.

    Best news ever!

Now please don’t let them mess it up and let it look cheap and crapy compared to the original for season master peace.
