Yeh, i guess this has been covered about his reasoning as to why they will exclude the Dinobots, but it won't be a complete loss since they are throwing in the Constructicons / Devastator, Arcee and Soundwave (Oh yes please! He beats the Dinobots Hands Down!)

but bay also said the megs wasnt gonna be in the movie and in the trailer, everyone says hes in it, so we just have to wait n see so all these questions can be answered

Actually, to be honest, when I saw this the thought did cross my mind that it was a suspiciously specific denial. But the robot cast of ROTF is going to be crowded enough already, any more robots and they'd probably go over budget, not to mention losing that much characterization. Maybe in the third one...

 

To be honest, I think the only way for them to appear in the movieverese is for them to be Triple changers, turning into a huge truck, or Jet in Swoop's case.
Or they could be the huge Trucks and only turn into thier Dino alt. modes in place of thier robot modes.
Anyone agree?

 

I think the latter would actually work out in terms of movie-verse. Too bad most other fans would whine about it :c
