That is one heck of an investment by the seller. I did not realize the ornament business was so lucrative. And here I was thinking about selling PS3, Wiis, and ELMOs. :)

I'm gonna sell my whole set - then I'll have enough money to send Fred for some TF goodies woooot I heard he has a sealed Canadian Pepsi prime for me :lol

On topic though, It is a great idea - decorate your tree with titaniums. :D  can't believe some sucker paid that much...

we should start a kitbash thread. how to make ornaments:

1)buy some holiday string (any will do)
    2)cut 4" piece
    3)make loop (2" long fold)
4)dab of super glue of back of titanium
5)hold cut ends in glue til it sets
    6)hang on tree
repeat as needed or till you pass out from the smell of super glue

Will that glue stick well though? I was just thinking about tying the string around the bot's next like a noose and hang 'em. But then that's kinda violent. :lol

You could probably take a tack and put a hole in the top of the figures head. Then use one of the eye-hole picture hook and screw it into the the hole in the head. Then just hang them like a regular ol' ornament.

dunno, but I can't bear to see optimus hanged. you member the movie? I was a little guy and I cried (I know woe is me) I can't do it...

I thought of that, too. I just didn't want to hurt them. But yeah, it's probably the best way and more secure Just if you don't go perfectly straight, you could cause damage.
