Optimus "attaching" to Elita-1 and reviving her while groaning was a OMG moment. I think the drunken decepticons in microbots was probably my favorite though.

 

G1 wasn't as slap stick or comedic as Beast Wars, but it had its moments.

 

That wasn't so much funny as it was hot. Well, maybe hot isn't the right word, but it was sort of like getting an accidental peek at mommy and daddy when you shouldn't. So, I guess disgusting would be more appropriate.

 

The PREDACONS singing "I've been working on the railroad" in unison as they drive the steam train in RID.
It's an absurd, surreal moment yet very funny (I think!)

In Beast Wars, Cheetor got some new body with rocket boosters. The Maximas are about to attack a Predacon base and they attack it paratrooper style. Cheetor is in freefall and is about say somthing like, I dont rember the exact line "Maxamise, rocket boo---" and smashes into a rock.

 

I've been laughing my ass off remembering all these things people have been posting.
one of my favorites is still Inferno "PROTECT THE ROYALTY" and always calling megs his "QUEEN". I still chuckle every time i remember it.

Dinobot: I was unaware you had given yourself a new title, Megatron.

No one mentioned the classic Soundwave/Starscream bit from "Desertion of the Dinobots (Pt 1)? Wow. It's one of my all-time favorites.

Soundwave: Megatron is retreating.
Starscream: So what else is new?

Also, the episode "The Girl Who Loved Powerglide" has some hysterical moments that likely weren't intentended to be taken comedically. The best one is where Powerglide -- a big robot easily 4 times and more the size of an average human -- forcibly pushes a female human onto the ground to get her away from him. It's a total WTF? moment and cracks me up every time -- no way that would get past today's censors... it would be considered "cruelty to women".

 

That's "Insecticon Syndrome" episode.

That's from two different scenes from two different episodes  

Depth Charge says that when reporting to Primal on Cheetor's supposed death, an emotional scene. Primal throws pushes DC into some crates in Part 2 after realising that he lied.

 

The episode in G1 where the Decepticons get "drunk" on Energon out in the desert, stumble around, pass out and share old stories. Megatron, while sitting on his ass, starts things off with a slurred "Ahhhh those were the days..." while gulping down a cube like it's a beer.

I never saw that episode when it originally aired as a kid, but when I saw it on my boxsets a couple of years ago, I laughed for a good half hour. Talk about things that modern censors wouldn't let get by nowadays.

In one of the season 2 G1 episodes, Teletran-1 sounds the alarm and instead of code red, it's "code magenta."

I always found it funny watching Spike, Bumblebee and Hound playing football with the Dinobots and Prime and Tracks playing basketball. "Am I drooling correctly, Spike?"
