After getting my 'new' car's title today, I stopped at a pawn shop to check out their DVDs, and ended up with a bunch. And a couple CDs, including this one published by Nippon Columbia, which had only the back of the case with it which had no pictures and thus was kinda useless for me as far as IDing. It looked like it might be an anime soundtrack, and it was only 49 cents, so I brought it home.

I have no idea what it might be from, even after listening a couple times, and I don't read Japanese despite being an anime fan. It reminds me of the dramatic ballads from the Yamato soundtracks. Is there anyone here who could translate the title for me?

I've got "Futari no ______" on the second line on the pink area of the CD. Not that you should take any translation of mine too seriously, I'm in first year japanese. I don't read Kanjis, just hiragana/katakana.

    "Two people's ______"

Actually knowing the romanji might be even more helpful than just the English translation as I can also look that up.

As I can't read the kanjis, I couldn't really give you much of an accurate translation of any kind on much of anything. I can only read fragments of the phrases on the disk.

Well after attempting to track down the info via the Nippon Columbia catalog number on the disc and the release date...I'm still unsuccessful in tracking down the info. However, it possibly IS a soundtrack from a Leiji Matsumoto series, so I wasn't too far with my Yamato guess.

Yep, you're right! Thank you! And darn. ;)

BTW, Amazon Japan's 'Would you like to see this page in English?' translator REALLY STINKS.
