In my DOTM viewing a few intresting things happened....

    1. @ The end fight, any time Optimus exchanged blows, I yelled " Go Prime F$## 'em up!!

    2. The WHOLE theater clapped, and yelled for more during the end credits.

    3. Most everyone had some kind of TF Merchadise on him/her , If not all ( Too many TF shirts to count!!! )

Went to go see it a third time with my friend and her brother last night, only 2 things that were interesting

    1. Some young kids just stormed into the cinema halfway through the film, yelling, playing music on their phones, laughing really loudly, and openly calling people on their phones and throwing sweets about, it finally ended when some guy a few rows in front of us got up, started to walk down, looking as though he was going to go to the loo, and grabbed one of the kid's phones (whilst he was talking on it) and swiftly ran out, no sooner had he done that then 2 attendants came out and told the kids to bugger off...when they lied, saying that they weren't doing anything, everybody in the cinema just yelled out "yes you were" my friend and I were just laughing our arses off. When they were escorted out, everybody cheered

    2. At the end, there were 2 guys near the back who booed, so me, my friend, and her brother just started clapping really loudly to try and cover them up

The usual .... but one Starscream fan was extremely pissed lol ..... and I thought I was a big fan.... Soon when Starscream blew up.... immediately he yells "What the F***!!?" lmao... the whole theater was split between laughter/agreement/ or either mad with his choice of words.

I hate people who cheer, clap and whatever at movies, but I have to say I was very disappointed the audience during my second viewing: not one single peep from anyone to practically ANY scene. No laughing, barely any chuckles, no "woe!" kind of reactions - just deafening silence from start to finish. It was kind of weirdly disappointing.

Glad to see someone finally did something, people like that can ruin a film for everyone. I would've cheered as well.

Annoying: I was watching it in 3D with my Dad,and it kept freezing.
When they showed Megatron driving in Chicago, it froze, and stopped. Then it skipped to the middle of the Chicago invasion, and then it cut out again.

I actually got up and started leaving when they said that they were rewinding it.
So, I stayed, and saw the movie.

At least I got a free ticket!

    VIEWING #1: Midnight showing.
This was my first midnight showing of any movie, so I didn't know what to expect. No one in costumes or anything, a few people with 'Bot or 'Con insignia shirts (including myself), but no wild or crazy outfits.
-Cheering when the previews started, because for some reason, the Cineplex screen said “Feature Presentation”, only to lead into the previews. So the cheering started, and then abruptly stopped because the movie had started. :lol  Blue-balled audience.
-During the trailer for Cowboys and Aliens, when the “From Jon Favreau...the director of Iron Man”-screen came up, my friend shouted angrily “AND ANDY FOLEY OF EDMONTON!”. Andrew Foley is the co-writer of the Cowboys and Aliens comic book, and is apparently getting the shaft when it comes to royalties for the film or some legal issue like that, I don’t know. But my friend and his fiance are friends with Andrew Foley, so they’re a little miffed that he’s getting little-to-no credit.
-When the trailer for Cowboys and Aliens ended and it was all quiet, one guy in the back shouted “Best. Title. Ever.” The audience laughed.
-Cheering when the Paramount logo appeared.
-Cheering when the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”-text transformed inside of Sentinel’s eye.
-Everyone laughed a lot at all of the intended jokes and such. Very happy to see that, especially after the botched attempts at humour in RotF.
-When Sentinel shot Ironhide, my friend leaned over and whispered “Dick move, Sentinel!”
-Cheering during the Autobots’ ‘return from the dead’.
-When Sentinel said “...the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few”, my friend (an even bigger geek than me, realizing where the line was taken from) let out a semi-loud “Oh, boo.” Not “booing”, but more of a disgruntled “Seriously?”-exclaimation.
-Cheering and hooting and hollering when the movie finished.
-Overall, a very positive reaction from the crowd.

    VIEWING #2: Saturday Afternoon
-Nothing really strange or unusual happened. It was a pretty laid back audience. They all laughed during the appropriate parts though, which again, made me happy.

    VIEWING #3: Following Saturday Evening
-Laughter at all the right places.
-Prior to the movie, I told my family that Megatron would be the “giant spiky tanker truck wearing the hood over his face”, just to establish who he was and that he had changed forms. They have a hard time keeping track of Megatron for some reason. Then when Megatron pulls up in Africa and transforms, my mother leans over and whispers “Who is that?” I quickly shushed her and pointed to the screen just in time for Megatron to bellow “All hail Megatron!”. I hope that answered her question.
-My Dad - a big Optimus Prime fan - put his fist up in the air (in a “Represent!”/“Testify!”-sort of way) during Optimus’ “Today, in the name of freedom, we take the battle to them!”-speech.
-A couple people clapped at the end. Not many, just 3 or 4 people.

    Viewing 1: midnight.

No visuals on the scrren untill the prieveiws started, so I missed the preshow (especially the deathly hallows sneak peek)

Wasn't really packed, about half full.

When carlys ass came up, me, my cuzin, and some random pervert said "oh yeah!" People laughed.

When Carly said Sentinels bitch, the guy in front of us who we had been yalking to before the movie said "way better than megan fox"

No clapping, which sucked, at least they laughed throughout.

Viewing 2: imax 2 days later.

Left my house and arrived at the imax hour and a half earlier. Glad I did, my dad and I waited in line outside the theatre for 45 minutes! When we got inside the lights were on, and it was about threee fourths full. And over the next half hour more came in.

When the previews started, they showed planet of the apes, and some random girl sitting next to me (about my age 15) said to her dad "can I see that?" To which he replyed "F**k no. Are u crazy?" I loled. Then, when they showed Happy Feet 2, he asked her "u wanna see that?" To which she smartly replied "F**k no. Are YOU crazy?" He didn't get mad, I guess its an inside joke for their family. But I'm pretty sure he wasn't kidding about her not seeing Apes.

Finally the credits started and when Sentinel first was shown, some guy in the front screamed "Why he not yellow?" Then, when Charlotte first came on, another guy said "great, that bitch." That I laughed at. Again laughing at right parts, and when Prime comes back from the dead EVERYBODY stood up and cheered. When Bee was close to dieing, everybody either whispered or said "what?" And when Sentinel revealed to be a double agent and killed Ironhide, everybody went silent, up untill the scene with Sam and his parents. And EVERYBODY clapped and cheered and chanted ENCORE! It was the best movie experience ever!

So my two viewing experiences were pretty fun, the imax was more fun than the midnight, but not by much.

When I saw the first movie for the first time, I remember that at the very beginning with Optimus' monologue about the Allspark, the picture on the screen was messed up, so the top half of the screen was pitch black, but luckily they fixed it in time for Blackout's reveal.

When Revenge of the Fallen rolled around, the one thing I remember most fondly was the HUGE roar of laughter from the audience when Leo tasered himself in the nuts. I remember thinking "Wow, Ebert certainly has a battle on his hands here :lol "

And finally, with Dark of the Moon, I spent much of the human scenes checking out a hot girl a few rows down from me. Dayum she was pretty. And when the movie was over and everyone was leaving, I noticed this kid of about five or six swinging a cup around like he was Optimus Prime with one of his blades, and I immediately thought "I used to do that after watching an episode of Beast Wars!":D

The first time I saw the movie (in 2D):
    People laugh at the jokes.

Total silence when Sentinel killed Ironhide, I quietly mutter bastard.

Total silence when Bumblebee was almost killed, a little boy (about 5) infront of me covered his face.

    Cheering when the autobots returned.

About 95% of the audience (including me) clapped when the film ended.

The second time I saw the movie (in IMax 3D)
Nothing besides people laughing at the jokes.

I went with my friends to the cinema, and first the room was almost empy. I went out to buy popcorn and coca cola, it took me like 10 minutes, and I found the room was almost full.

Well, we were seeing the movie and during the scene of Ironhide dead I heard a AHH! I thought it was my friend who was next to me. But during the other dramatic scenes I heard NO!, ahhh!, aww and YEAH (it was a different sound because it was in spanish) It was a group of girls behind me. And when the movie finished one of my friends ask me if it had been ME the one who made all the noises.

I'm surprised at how many technical difficulties people have experienced. I've never had anything like that happen to me...I'm feeling a new appreciation for my local multiplex.

:lol  I hope he lets her go. I doubt Apes would have much that's inappropriate for a 15 year old.

Yep. When I saw RotF, it was a full house, and the audience roared with laughter at all of the jokes; nut tasering, dogs humping, the twins, EVERYTHING. Never underestimate the power of lowbrow humor on the general public...
