Over at TFormers. According to the post, the picture is from the Tokyo Toy Show 2006.

To be perfectly honest, I really don't think it's as bad as people are making it out to be. I would have preferred a G1 color scheme, but this still looks great and it'll fit with Alternators perfectly. It also seems to be just the right scale (cartoon wise) between Prime and the Alternators.

Looks pretty good if you stop considering it an MP and look at it from a realism stand point. I'll still get one and stand him with my Alternator Decepticons.

If it's just a jet which happens to transform into a robot, it looks very nice.

It looks so off standing with Prime.

Looks fine as long as you try not to think of it as screamer...

Looks much better than the photoshopped one. If the white wasn't as brite it would be better but I'm still getting it.

Well, he's alot bigger than I had initially expected. In robot mode, he looks to be at least 10+ inches tall (a far cry from the reported 22 cm). The colour scheme is actually growing on me as well. I'm glad he isn't as blue as the original photoshop makes him out to be.

Unfortunately, he doesn't really go that well with Convoy there, as his asthetic seems far too real against Convoy's G1-ish design. Still, I simply can't pass up a mold this detailed. Even in this mediocre colour-scheme, Starscream rocks (to me at least).

Well, it looks a helluva lot better than the PSed pic we saw.

Made me reconsider my cancellation of my preorder. So of course, I went crawling back and re-preordered it. Thank god I have a job now.

*chants a mantra* Think of it as a BT/Alt, not a Masterpiece...Think of it as a BT/Alt, not a Masterpiece....

Oh come on, you know they will sell this version first, and once we have all bought one, they will sell an Anime Accurate version. I think Takomy has been paying attention to Hasbro and their repainted second use of molds lately.

Do a crappy 1st job, then make an excellent second use of the mold. Then of course we will get T-cracker and Skywarp.

I think that looks pretty damn awesome. and it's clearly Starscream in every way shape and form. the only thing that bugs me @ this ponit are the tanks oon the side of the intakes, but since they're the same color as the intakes, the seem to call attention to themselves a lot less...

Doesn't look as small as I'd imagined in relation to MP-1. I still wish he was maybe an inch taller but nevermind... I just hope it's not an illusion because of the stand.

The grey looks better here as I figured it would "in the flesh" BUT I'd still like more red and less white in bot mode.

So... Not a complete dud yet BUT not perfect either. Choices choices...

    Steve.

:lol  Yeah, that's what I keep saying. I really like the mold and the colors seem a bit off to me, because it's Screamer. However, when I stepped back and really took a look at the overall design and what not... I can except it as a BT/ALT, however, it doesn't fit with the MP concept to me. Still, it'll make a nice addition to my ALT Decepticon ranks.

We KNOW it will be repainted down the line. I will wait for the Skywarp version. Or a Hasbro Starscream that's a lighter gray.

I notice a fair resemblance to the first Energon Starscream, only not translucent.

Takomy is releasing an anime accurate version... but you have to be a member of their club to get it. Also, I'm pretty sure it's twice the price too. Oh, and Roller, if you buy MP-04 you won't get Roller unless you're a club member and buy him through their club...

Ah, the irony is amazing here...

wow that thing looks fantastic. I think they did a really good job in keeping it true in both forms.

A real looking jet and a good likening to original Starscream.

honestly IMo as a robot in disguise a white jet with red stripes intending to look like the war machine it is, doesn't when it's white with a red fuselage. If that's what the movie version looks like too, I'd be extremely happy.

If I had to make Screamer realistic, that's exactly how I'd do it. I may be looking to fork over the money for this toy.
