I've been hearing great things about it, and it's been highly recommended to me on more than few occasions.

But the main characters at a glance (and a read) really don't appeal to me, so I lack the motivation to check it out.

Check the manga, the storyline is totally different from the anime series.

Watched the cantonese dub. Cool anime. I'd like to check out the manga some time though.

Agreed. Fantastic show and movie. What I like, unlike many anime shows, is the movie continues right where the show left off. Excellent show.

It is indeed a great series, I very much enjoyed it. The last few episodes are among my favorate in all of the Anime I've ever seen, and I really enjoyed both its ending, and the movie.

It's fun, very sad at times, but also possessing great levels of humor to counterbalance that.

It takes me a little time to get into any Anime, FMA was no different, I was wavering a bit until the episode about Nina, upon which I was completely hooked. Funny how one big moment in a series can do that to you.

It's weird. I watched the first few episodes and loved them, but I just never feel like watching the rest.

Great series. Is there a complete boxset out there? for US flocks? It caught my attention when I saw like half of the episode where they killed general Hughes. I was like wow this series is interesting, I just started watching it from there and loved.
    I recommended.
