Does anybody know what other bots have been built for the movie. Bumblebee of course but Tyrese mentioned in an interview that there are a few of them built. And is blackout really the biggest robot in the movie?? I thought megatron was at something like 34 feet? any matter your help is greatly appreciated :thumb

They had the full-scale model of bumblebee, and a full-scale waist down of Megatron. Any others were only bits & pieces for reference to the animators.

    correct on both counts.

megatron is in fact that size.

blackout however is MUCH bigger... remember how big skorponok was in the trailer? compare that to this picture...

also look at the size of the windows on blackouts chest. basically, a person is the same height as blackout's HEAD. this guy is the same size as g1 devestator from the looks of it

Cheers! I had know idea he was going to be or is that HUGE! I cant belive skorponok is that small in comparison. I have heard they might have the ability to join as one bot but I have learned to not even start with that sort of speculation and just wait for the movie. Thanks a ton for the info.

I'm not sure the toys are actually in scale with one another. I wouldn't base movie robot size on the toys.

they come as a 2-part set, so I imagine they are pretty close in scale at least.

compare how big a human is next to skorponok in teh trailer, with how big a human would be sat in that cockpit, and it looks like it's pretty dead on in fact.

I want a Supreme-sized Blackout. Unlike Cybertron Starscream, this guy really should be massive!

cybertron starscream looks like one of those cheap imitation Transformers you find in the discount isles of department stores. his "jet" is just plain hideous. and you're right, he's way too big for his own good. Blackout, on the other hand, would KICK ASS as an enormous bot. there's so much detail to him, itd just be SICK

Movie Starscream should also be taller than Megatron; if there is no mass shifting, he'll be around 52 feet tall.

it was previously discussed that his alt mode folds in half and collapses a bit during transformation, then the chicken legs extend, so he's probably more along the lines of 52/2(fold) = 26 - 4(crumpling) = 22 + 10 (legs) = 32 feet or thereabouts.

remember the group pics, starscream is the biggest one and blackout and megs have similar heights (megatron was slightly bigger IIRC)

I'm sorry I missed the previous discussion, but I'd guess that that number is low if the design sheets posted earlier this week are close. I detailed my guess at the height here, but the bottomline is that unless the cockpit on his chest turns out to be much larger proportionally to the body than in the design sheet, Starscream is somewhere between 40-50 feet tall.

Give or take Id say 40 feet or less really, I havent tooken a look at the differences but In the case of bigger = better in this movie, Id say size is facilitated as great fire power and smaller = strength. Could be wrong though!

All I know is blackout has to be possibley the most interesting decepticon to me in this movie!

    Yummy!!! :D

lol, It was a nice guess I mean, prime=leader of autobots

Megs= Supreme Idol of the decepticons

So when you question his rule??? He must be a tough cookie to crack to be the leaders if your own minions are bigger than you lol!!!!!!!

But a good point made by you was the size, I thought it is about right because of thbe movement of SS's parts.
