3D Artwork: Full-Auto's lab - then and now

    Another part of the reworking of all the characters and sets for Episode Two is now pretty much finished. Back in 2008, Full-Auto's lab (and the texturing on the characters) looked like this:

    I'm fairly happy with that.

    I use Lightwave 3D 9.6, but these shots were rendered using the beta for 9.6.1. It's a tad buggy (since it's a beta), but it does seem to render quite a bit faster than 9.6.

    Second image makes me think of a Sarcophagus from Star Gate actually. Looks good though.

    As always, I really enjoy your work, man. I really enjoy the mechanical sort of warehouse feel of your new render. This is what I'd imagine a TF "laboratory" to really look like. :thumb
