Movie 1 Megatron is the best Megatron image among all 4 movies, cruel, ruthless and extreme powerful. Too bad the toy is not good enough, and I think the major issue is the legs.

So this is based on my old post "Leg improvement for a better shape movie 1 leader Megatron".
All I did is find better feet to improve on that, and repaint with silver and blue. So I won't go into details on how to make it. Anyone interested, can check this link:

Now is the result:


Compare with normal version, the major difference is just the leg length






Plane mode is pretty much the same.




Now it's a suitable figure at same level of ROTF Optimus Prime and Megatron





Try to recreate the movie 1 scenes.

"Decepticons, attack! !"

Megatron: Give me the cube, and I will let you to live as my pet!

That looks great! Two questions:
1. What did you use for the extra foot parts?
2. What paint did you use?

 

Wow! Megatron looks amazing man!

 

1) Let me show you where did I get the extra foot parts.  
This is before the re-paint. Tell me if you can guess the name now.



2) The paint I used are just 3: First is the metallic silver Second is metallic blue. And I used some black color for ink as well.

 

That looks awesome. I agree the Best Megatron for sure. Paintwork is great!

That's right. Quite common parts, and easy to put on the Megatron's feet. I drilled holes and use screws on it to make sure it can move back and forth, but I guess glue is also possible.

 

That is awesome!
I always wanted a better movie megs, and this rocks. Its too bad the alt mode could nor be improved upon as well. Not your fault, just saying.

Nicely done! He looks more like his CGI design with the taller proportions.

 

Actually I think the original plane mode is good enough, that's pretty accurate from the movie 1's alien plane, right?

 

Beautiful! How durable is the paint job?

 

Very durable, I used adhere to plastic white paint I found in walmart for the 1st and 2nd coat, to cove the original color, then paint the silver, etc.

After that I transform a few times, no issue.

Though I"m also curious how did you make the ROTF megatron taller than OP?

 

I did nothing on that, ROTF Megatron iss probably already taller than the ROTF Optimus Prime.
