Well the John Munch character first started on Homicide Life on the streets but has appeared in the first two or three law and orders, The Wire, X-Files, Arrested Development, and some short lived show on UPN.

Boston Public crossover'd with that law show with the fat chick.

That would be the Practice, and the Practice had a crossover with the comedy Ally MacBeal.

Yeah but Angel was a spin-off of Buffy... NOT having a crossover would be like Fraiser never mentioning Lillith or Ted Danson.

The Practice and Ally McBeal... so that was what 7 years ago? It's been awhile since two networks let their characters show up. And I've always been confused by the John Munch appearing in everything. As a big fan of Homicide growing up (don't ask me why but in grade school I enjoyed the show give or take what I got out of it at the time) I always loved seeing him randomly show up on stuff but I was always like 'How does this happen legally?' :lol

annnnnywhoozle onto the show tonight. Good stuff I really liked it. For as much as it was 'no way that'd ever happen' I took it as 'this is entertainment, it's not trying to be anything more' and I liked that.

The second episode was better than the first, though the beginning was a bit too creepy for my taste. Walter's character's a trip.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Makes me curious to know about Josh Jackson's character's medical.....thing. Maybe he's a successful clone? Curious.

I really liked the format of the show this week. Hopefully the ratings are good for this show.

It being on fox worries me a shade, especially with the timeslot it's competing in. I'm an avid Eureka fan. I am grateful though that Fox has these up on hulu bout damn near the next morning though. I love both this show and Eureka, but if it comes down to it, I'll forego fringe in favor of eureka, since Fringe has more of an X-files feel to it, and leaves you wanting more, whereas Eureka leaves each episode with closure while prepping for the next. Both great shows, just wish they planned the time slots out better. At least Eureka's on a midseason break after next week so I can watch Fringe.

    As for crossovers...

    Cops - X-files
    Las Vegas - Crossing Jordan
And I'm sure many more I can't think of at the moment, including some cross network ones. The real issue is one of two things. Both shows either have to be on the same network OR both shows have to be made by the same company, usually there's always a creative team that's on both that do it.

Anyone else also notice that Walter is becoming more and more Lucid the longer he is away from the Institution? Like maybe it was an induced crazy, as opposed to his current eccentricacies? Would fit why even FBI were denied entry without a family member, though that was already explained by the patriot act reference since this man couldn't be a suspect due to his circumstance.

I don't think Walter was crazy either. Maybe he's walking that fine line between insanity and genious a little. John Noble's Walter sure makes the show IMHO.

I have the same problem. Luckily, I'm able to catch Eureka's rerun, after idiot fest, I mean wrestling. I have the same problem on Wednesday nights. Mythbusters, Monsterquest, and Ghosthunters are all on at the same time, and two of them have their reruns at the same time.

I noticed that, in the first episode. I think it was being locked up in an asylum that drove him nuts. Kind of like in Shawshank Redemtion, when the guy made the comment about having to go to jail, to become a criminal.

Fringe was a bit of a bore aside from a few stray lines from Bishop last night. The last 5 minutes saved the episode, IMO.

After last nights episode, I'm more convinced than ever that Broyles from Fringe and Abbadon from Lost is the same character.

I agree that it was well done. I just personally have never been a fan of "psychic power" plots.
