Fringe finally debuts on Tuesday at 9pm on FOX tomorrow night!

J.J Abrams you have yet to disappoint me so keep it up!

I really hope this show will do well and have great word of mouth. I think J.J. is great but this show is on Fox and they are notorious for canceling good shows for no reason *coughFIREFLYcough*

This show actually looks fairly interesting, but I'll probably hold off on watching it for now. Besides the fact I only have rabbit-ear reception and my picture isn't very good, I'm very reluctant to get involved with any new show until it's proven capable of surviving at least through a whole season and through to a second if the first season ends in a cliffhanger. I'm also a little wary about getting into Abrams stuff, since I like shows to have a good balance of answers/new questions and, from what I've heard of Lost, he's got a habit of introducing tons of plot points and taking forever to wrap them up.

But, we'll see. Fringe does look to have a neat premise, so if the word-of-mouth is good and it has a chance of surviving, I'll add it to Terminator on my "pick up DVDs or watch online at some point" list.

I'll give it a look. I don't watching any else on Tuesday at 8 now that they've moved House to 7.

House was moved to 8, not 7

What makes this more exciting as well is the fact that Kurtzman and Orci are the writers for it as well :)  that's a plus

I'll give it a watch, but it's going to be hard not to have LOST-like expectations for it, even though that's unfair as it is.

I'm expecting it to be more like x-files.

I watched the Pilot about a month ago. Very good show. Initially it will not disappoint. If any of you are a fan of Alias and Lost you will like this show. I would say it will be more like Alias then Lost though.

The previews look good, and as a huge fan of LOST I will definitely make an effort to watch it. Though I'm not sure on Josh Jackson.

That's not a bad thing as long as they it's more like Seasons 1-3 as opposed to 4 or 5.

Right. I'm just worried it will start out like 1-3 and then turn out like 4-5 after kurtzman, orci, and Abrams take flight.

The show looks alright. Nothing about the teaser trailers really gave me the "Must Watch" Vibe in the least and it has a pretty good chance of getting Cancelled despite who it's producer is.

That was pretty good. Lots of setup for little conspiracy stuff just like Lost right off the bat. I'll keep watching. Plus it was pretty impressive in HD.

I liked it a lot. I never saw Alias but I do like Lost. I'm really looking forward to watching every week. Thank goodness we've got scripted TV back.

Man,after seeing that one old lady with the arm,I'm predicting a Terminator/Fringe crossover somewhere down the line.

Cool show, nice twists here and there and great to see Josh jackson again.

Interesting... I liked it enough to sit through it (mostly for the sci-fi angles abound). Josh Jackson was pretty rusty with some of those lines early on though. They felt like they were being read... some of them... mostly the one where he said 'sweetheart' tenfold.

Anyways, yeah I didn't expect the lady with the robotic arm which took the realism down (I mean, the guy with clear skin seemed plausible for some unknown virus). Overall though, I'll be watching next week and that's a victory for Fringe.

You know it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. The whole ep seemed really forced and rushed; like they're trying to throw at you so much info, but can only squeeze it in a hour show. I enjoyed most of it, but we'll see how long that lasts.
