The date on the article says Mar 6, but I haven't seen it posted here so close if old.
I think the threat to send the first in violation to the representative is the key here. They want to get the point across that they need to enlarge the cemetery.
Wow. They should totally make that a capital offence.
Guy sure is making a statement, isn't he?
If you die, you get get charged.
This law doesn't make sense.
If I were to open a bar, I would call it "Cemetery," or "Charnel House," or better yet, "Ossuary."
Because then people would be dying to get in there.
Now thats some funny shit, but can certainly understand the logic behind it. If it worked once before why not this time.
...now thats comedy gold.
Draven - win
what the hell?
Didn't this exact thing happen four or five years ago? Because I remember reading something like this.
The french hate the dead, The dead hate the french. Everything works out.
I think it would be hilarious if people protested this law by civil disobedience. I can see the headlines now...
There is a lack of space for Cemeteries in Europe. People are now just getting family plots and burying family members on top of each other. If you don't do all that preservation stuff the body is mostly dirt in 30 years.
Not being a European, I am not going to make fun of them because they have a different issue unlike us Americans who have plenty of room to bury dead people.
I'll just donate my body to science, save some space.
If I were the mayor, I would force cremation on any violators.
Cremation's the way to go, anyway. Cemeteries are horrible wastes of space.
It sounds like there is probably a national law preventing this so his response is to ship the corpses to the national legislators...
