I thought some of you might find this amusing. Last year, I wrote an essay for a literature class in college, and it ended up winning a contest and being one out of fourteen essays published in some special school publication that is the first edition of what will become an annual publication (thus, it's archived as a part of the college's history) and is apparently used to teach freshmen how to write essays. What does this have to do with Transformers, you might ask? Well, take a look at the first sentence in my essay:

My last paper for my undergraduate degree was a paper on gender roles in 'Charles and Charge.' Quoting Op is much fuller of win.

Okay, if you really want to read it here it is:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=68C68M3V

It's a Works Word Processor Document. It's also just a rough draft, I believe, since we finalized our essays during class in a computer lab and printed them out there. So it may be a bit different than the final copy, but it's basically the same.

Unless you want to buy the actual book, I've got the ISBN number.

Hm. Not bad. Not great - but you're only a freshman yet, after all - you have years of improvement ahead.

Sophomore now, actually. That was my first essay I wrote for a college class last year, I honestly can't believe that one got nominated over some of my later ones. Hopefully now that I'm also majoring in creative writing I'll be able to include more Transformers goodness in future essays :lol
