    WiFi Access

In addition to a growing list of restaurants, museums, hotels and shops, downtown Cincinnati is largely wireless and FREE in many public spaces! Thanks to our friends at Project Lily Pad, a 100% volunteer initiative, with the support of key business partners, government leaders and academic representatives, the following public spaces are "lit up" and FREE.

    * Fountain Square (located at Fifth and Vine)-LOCATED ABOUT 1-2 BLOCKS FROM CONVENTION.

    * Findlay Market (located on Elder between Race and Elm
    * Government Square (located on Fifth between Walnut and Main)
    * Longworth Hall (located at 700 Pete Rose Way)
    * Lytle Park (located on Fourth adjacent the Taft Museum)
    * Main Street Entertainment District (Located on Main between Central Parkway and Liberty)
    * Riverfronts of downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky
    * Washington Park (located on Twelfth between Race and Elm)

Or the Hyatt itself for that matter.

    Edit:

    Found on a review site:

"On the down side, be advised that if you read that they have wireless internet, that it is only FREE to T-Mobile plans and everyone else has to pay $10 per day. When we called and made the reservation we were told it was free but they conveniently neglected to say with T-Mobile plans."

I saw a sign in the convention center that they have wifi, but part of that T-mobile thing (if I recall). The millenium also said to me over the phone that they had free wifi, but I'd be guessing they also conveniently didn't mention that same thing as the Hyatt.
But $10 per day is okay for me. Most places have $2-3 per hour, so I'm okay with this rate for the few days I'm here.

Also wanted to mention somewhere, but didn't know if it is important enough to start a new topic - Those who are staying in the Hyatt, the walkway to the convention center is not covered, and there is a 50% chance for storms this weekend, so bring an umbrella to protect you and your toy hauls (and other expensive stuff like cameras and computers) when you take them back to the hotel. Millenium hotel stayers don't have the same problem, as there is a completely covered walkway to the convention center.

I am in the room at the Hyatt and am able to get the free lily-pad service. It cuts out every once in a while, though.

I got the 10 dollar Hyatt shot since I couldn't hit a Lillypad spot in my room...it's going pretty well from here. Granted I'm below the 10th floor...
