This will be my first FCBD. I'm hoping to score the Transformers & Hellboy comics and get some deals on graphic novels. Is any one else going to their LCS on Saturday?

Didn't even realize it was this Saturday. I might, but only because of the Shadowmoor release tournament for Magic: The Gathering.

I'm picking up that Tiny Titans for my Girlfriend. She has wanted that ever since she saw a preview in Feburary.

Our local shop, Heroes Aren't Hard to Find, always has a stellar FCBD celebration. I've got some awesome sketches from Mark Brooks the last 2 years, but sadly he had to cancel this year. Still looking forward to hanging out there though.

I went there before noon, and even then, most of the good stuff was gone! No Animated, no All-Star Superman, no most of the titles that ought to have been there. Settled for X-Men, Bongo Free-for-All, and Hellboy as consolation prizes, along with some stuff from last year's FCBD, including the TF Movie Prequel.

The funniest part was seeing the sheer number of untouched 2007 Spideys. Couldn't have been less than twenty, probably closer to thirty.

I went in yesterday and grabbed a few of the freebies along with an Uncanny X-Men backissue I'd been looking for. If anyone couldn't get a hold on the TFA freebie, you can have mine. I didn't know that this was gonna be a screen-capped book until I flipped through it. :/

    No Transfomers for me :(

I did snag the Hulk/Iron Man promo and got an issue of Cable.

Also got the Iron Man heroclix which was a nice surprise, since I was there to get a Wizard, the Grimlock Spotlight, and some heroclix :)

No free sketches for me this year (didn't feel like waiting in the long lines), but I did manage to get lots of free comics. Charlotte's comic super store, Heroes, also had lots and $1 & $2 boxes outside and I managed to find lots of odd ball issues...like Scarlet Witches 4 issue mini-series from around the time she was in Force Works.

Finished the day off by catching the Iron Man flick. Wow, best super hero movie ever!

    I missed Free-Comic-Book-Day.
Daddy was workin' and he took the car (not that the last factoid matters).

I was wanting to pick up Impact University (because I knew that EJ Su was one of the contributers). If anyone was able to pick up an extra copy, please PM me.

I did pick up Transformers: Animated, but have yet to read it. While I was there I bought Focus on Decepticons and Transformers Spotlight: Grimlock. :)

    *still waiting on Transformers: Devestation #4 and #6 . . . *
