This is an eye opening experience for younger or uneducated fans as to why we love Optimus Prime and Megatron so much. Peter and Frank have created and refined the voices, the personalities, and the depth of these characters for the past 20 years and they have become iconic because they are real.

This is what seperates Transformers from any other brand. For those of you who are Trekkers, you understand this as well, as the cast of Star Trek:TNG has been quoted time and again about their relationships with each other on/off the set.

That bond made them the greatest Trek family to date, and when they left the air, each subsequent series failed to produce the depth, the drama, and the essence of what TNG provided us with on a weekly basis.

That's why we don't have a current Trek series on tv.

I also believe this is why it's so important to the TF brand that Hasbro and paramount collaborate on future films more intimately in selecting a different director as well as writers. They need people who are passionate enough about this thing to pull the depth of these characters out of what they've been given to work with( like Peter and Frank) instead of focusing on the budget and trying to top previous earnings.

Man Peter, you're kind of a nerd about your profession, remembering all these details about cartoons no one else would.

    That's pretty awesome, actually.

it'd be hilariously awesome if they call up each other in characters' voices and just chit chat on daily matters and end the conversation with some vague threat of demise of the other side.

Actually, you can hear Frank's Obama impersonation (briefly) in a recent episode of Robot Chicken.

    He's pretty good!

Have they just not worked with each other since G1? I'm sure they have done other stuff together.

I wanna hear Frank's Obama impersonation. And I love how they're always screwing up the takes because they're joking around like big kids despite probably being the oldest cast members. "Oh I mime it, because if I get him to laugh, then they blame him for messing up the tape." :LOLOL Oh these two.
