Hugo Weaving is perfect for that voice role.

    Meh, that felt weak.
    It did nothing for me.
I know what i am getting with Hugo. I prefered welker over Hugo, but its not that big of a deal.

No he doesn't. It sounds like a cheap attempt to prove a point. Which it is. Hugo sounds chilling like Hugo.

It's fan made... and it gets the point through, hence the responses on this thread.

And Hugo's got a great emotive voice... what more can you ask from a voice actor?*

    I agree.

    Weaving > Kaye > Welker.

To be honest, I don't think that Frank Welker really cared whether he would get the part or not. I never got the impression that he has the same connection with Megatron as Prime does with Cullen.

I agree - from what I've seen, and his comments about "Heroes" coming this fall; he seems to accept & like his place in fandom for Megs, looks on the character fondly, and about his only attachment is that Megs continues to be done well.

Reminds me of Hamill's comments about the new Batman cartoon some years back, where he wasn't asked to do the Joker - enjoyed the ride, will always remember, and will still enjoy the new incarnation.
