    I love this quote...

"because its going to be purdy, and it’s not drawn by Pat Lee."

Quote of the year! Good to hear from both and I'm highly looking forward to the Sentinel Prime design by Alex and Don.

Heh. I hope that means Alex is finally out from under Pat's hacky thumb.

Funny interview. And oooh -- new Sentinel Prime design co-done by Figueroa and Milne = mucho potential!

Personally, I think this is better than the "not drawn by pat lee" line:

Heh. I thought this interview was pretty hilarious. I'm really looking forward to reading this, and I enjoyed everything he had to say about Pat Lee and DW.

If you ask me, he was very professional when talking about Pat Lee, if you consider all the things he could have said.

I honestly think you can only be professional up to so much about a person that's jipped you so many times. I admit, it may seem kinda rude on his part, but I feel the Pat-Shots are not only funny, but worth it(and made me chuckle a few times).
That said, I like this interview- very funny stuff. For some reason, though, I like to entertain the idea that all three of the people in this interview are coloring in coloring books and kicking their feet about behind them and answering/asking questions between crayon marks XD.

    Great interview.

Very much looking forward to Megatron: Origin.

IMHO, Alex didn't seem unprofessional. Yes, he did direct a couple of shots against Pat Lee, and one against Dreamwave; but with how things went down, it seems he was trying to keep his cool and not turn the interview into a rant.

P.S.: what problem does Fractal Matter has against Rodimus Prime?

I am sorry but if anyone deserved it more than Pat Lee than please tell me. He made his bed and now he can sleep in it!

I am really looking forward to this book.

Acting unprofessional would be saying things like "I hate Pat Lee, he's gay, and he should die."

It seems that Alex found humorous ways to be honest about his opinion about Pat. nothing wrong with that. When he said IDW pays him period, well, it's a perfectly reasonable, honest, humorous response.

When he says the book will be good because Pat Lee didn't draw it, well, again consider where he came from. That's the same thing as saying, "My movie is good because Uwe Boll didn't direct it," except this time pretend Uwe didn't even pay his cast.

All said, Alex displayed a lot of class in this interview, and I'm very glad he's no longer being treated like a slave by Pat Lee.

I was glad to read that Holmes is working with Furman to keep the continuity tight.

    And this exchange:

=pure awesome. Nice to hear from the source that Pat Lee's Dreamwave is unequivocally trash and that Milne has severed all ties.

And yet, he keeps getting work. DC is now officially the worst offender in this regard. Not only is he doing the art on the current story in Superman/Batman -- well, at least he's credited with doing so -- but they've offered him a Red Tornado series! (Source) :banghead:

    Oh boy.

Mental note: don't order Red Tornado.
