All of the weapons looks great on Vortex, Brawl and Onslaught! Onslaught is just armed to the bone.

It's amazing some of the potential that these figures have that Hasbro missed out on. Just a "few" extra pieces and a couple of different tooling decisions and the figure is so drastically improved it is damn near laughable.

I for one am very impressed w/ what FansProject is doing here and I'm glad I pre-ordered the set. Very nice.

That's not really fair in the least. The base figures weren't designed to be an accurate Bruticus homage, and FP's solution, with its 50 someodd removable accessories aren't exactly kid-friendly. Hasbro's job was just fine given their design goals and target audience, and FP's job is stellar as always given theirs.

The RoTF Bruticus sets probably just went up a few bucks on eBay.

Absolutely agreed. The Crossfire set has far more detachable (read: easy to lose) bits and pieces than any G1 set ever dreamed to have. And the amount of plastic involved would likely have doubled the cost of the toys if Hasbro/Takara had included all those accessories.

Hasbro can go take a walk. there is nothing stoping the from developing a line of this quality aimed at collectors.
Because they are not taking advantage of an obvious market, yes, they are losing money they could have otherwise made.
