target they were $ 9.99 then walmart they were $9.00....had a bunch...
FAKLJSDHFLKJAH, Need Soundwave!
This is getting old, now.
they have had OP and BB out at my walmart for a few months now, Megs and Soundwave showed up bout bout 3 weeks ago.
are people having hard times finding these guys???
Western Pennsylvania = the land where Sea Attack Ravage and Jetblade are plenty while Generations are just a mirage.
Got my soundwave and Red Alert a couple weeks ago. Love WFC Soundwave he looks amazing along side Megatron. I wish they were doing more unique molds from the game.
I've seen Red Alert twice, Megatron and Darkmount aren't hard to find, found Soundwave once and bought it.
Generations has been easy for me to find in my area. Now ome of the new HFTD molds that i want nothing beyond wave for deluxe occasionaly wave 2 voyagers and wave 2 scouts. I want Hailstorm and Highbrow dammit!
I only found Soundwave, Darkmount, Red Alert, and Megatron ONCE and at ONE of the 3 Wal-Marts in the area.
Now, you can't even tell they were there. It's a sea of Prime's and Bumblebee's. My hopes of finding Dirge and Blurr are slowly fading.
I think the major retailers are holding back some of the stock for the new figures for the holiday season and thats why they have yet to hit saturation. At least thats my theory.
looks like i need to get my butt to the store and stock up on these things and get to selling to all you guys then huh... and ebay too
...heads back to the store to buy another soundwave...or 2,3,4....
if anyone is interested, i can double check my store tonight and would be happy to help people out getting these guys
That's pretty much what I was thinking as well. They are holding back for the holiday push. Target is supposedly doing a reset of the toy isle at the end of October, most likely for the holiday push. I am sure this is when these guys will show up en mass. We know they were mass produced, the retailers are just not putting them on the shelves.
DuBois PA WalMart Super Center has all four now. Finally got my Soundwave and Megs
if you're in Western Pa it may be worth the drive.
Every place around where I live has had a sighting. From RI to NY to a few towns/cities in MA. My local Walmart and TRU have had the same wave 1 stock since mid August. The only exception was in early September. Even then it was wave 2. WFC Megatron was the only one on my list. The figures went pretty fast.
I guess the sightings thread is a double edged sword. Help one person end up screwing over another.
No mode of transportation at the moment except walking. Kind of hampers my searching radius. Usually check once or twice a week. Mostly when I'm out to get groceries.
Ordering online is out of the question. Money is tight. Figures since I've stated that WFC Soundwave is my last figure for a long while. Suppose I'll find it when it's meant to happen. Like that Tom Petty song "The Waiting Is The Hardest Part".
My Wal Mart is totally out of Generations. They got Megatron and Soundwave in last week finally, but it wasn't much. I checked the toy aisle today and the only thing left was Tuner Mudflaps and some other HFTD stuff...
Here in the Philippines, WFC Megs is the most uncommon, not that rare but I can always see WFC Bee/OP/Soundave on the pegs.
I actually scored a WFC Megs and Soundwave, as well as a Darkmount down here in my Florida swamplands just tonight!
I guess all my interwebz bitching about not finding them locally finally paid off??
I doubt I'm ever gonna find anything new. I was lucky that that TRU Express opened up in my Mall, was able to get Straxus and Megs.
But honestly, the Target I work at, we've had nothing but the first wave of HFTD, PCC, and Generations since our reset. We have gotten the wave with Prime and the Fallen voyagers, and some legends, but that's it. Shit just ain't selling like it needs to for new product to come in, and it makes me sad.
Awesome! I'm still looking for Soundwave myself.
It is odd that an awesome group of figs like Generations is peg warming so badly in so many places. Kudos to Hasbro for not under-producing them, but it is surprising just how many BBs, Primes, and Thrusts you can see clogging the pegs at one store at any given time these days.
