So I was going to my girlfriends apartment and on the way up the stairs I see a bag full of knockoff robots laying near the trash/recycle bins. Mostly cheap Gundam stuff that I wasn't interested in. But this mini Fortress Maximus was in there so I grabbed him. My girlfriend gave me alot of shite for taking something from the garbage. LOL. Still, pretty cool for a freebie.

Ah yes..Fortress Minimus. I got one of those several years back. Paid good money for it; damn straight I'd have taken it for free out of the 'trash'.
You should :stick:  that friend of yours.

That happened to a friend of mine. He was walking on his block and decided to kick this garbage box, when he did a minty G1 Blaster fell out the box. Great find in the trash man. :)

How much does one of these go for on ebay?
And is it a kit, or fully-built in package.
I'm quite interested in getting one, but not if they are really expensive.

it's called Uranus 5. It was sold in a few stores in the US back in the early-mid 90's. Brand new it could be anywhere from $1-$10 depending on the toy store. It's a KO of the Fort Max jr from the G1 japanese line. I have only seen one place ever selling these called ToyHell, and they asked $50 for them. It has some cheaper parts, but overall is an awsome little toy. I can send you scans of the card if you want and more pics of it can be found here.

awsome find man, he is a tough one to get, even for a KO.

Man, I've been trying for a while to locate one (even though I already have the official Jr. version) and then he finds one in the trash.....*sigh*.....it's dumpster-diving for me this week.
