So I was on Kijiji looking up Transformers, there was a guy that had a few G1's for sale, since the summer, he wanted an aweful lot for them, but I decided today to meet up and take a look at the toys in person, and I ended up getting some really nice figures! I bought his Slag, Broadwise, and Bombshell, all which are in pretty damn nice shape, I was actually suprised in the condition. Although they have a few worn stickers, and missing a few accessories, I am very happy with the purchase, and can't wait to get reprolabels, and the rest of their weapons!

I paid $50 canadian for the 3 of them, which isn't too bad I don't think, considerring they are near perfect shape, tight joints, amazing chrome, they just need new stickers! :)

Messed around them a bit this afternoon, cleaned them up and got them ready for reprolabels :)  Check em out! I'm excited! I don't own any original G1's except for a G1 Rumble, so this is cool!

I left Broadwise's stickers on for now, since I gotta leave

$50 for those 3 are not a bad price. I hope you can find the accessories at a fair price. I find that buying in parts tend to cost more than a complete figure.

Yeah, that's a fair price for 3 items in such great condition. That Bombshell looks so pristine one might wonder if it was a KO.

Broadside was the one triplechanger I never cared for -- just a little too blocky for my tastes. But I still get a pang of nostalgia when I see it due to my affinity for jetformers.

It proves there are still some good deals on GI figures. You just have to find them.

My Broadside is one of my prized TFs. Yours looks very nice as well. Nice score!

Bombshell, possible KO. I say that due to condition + absence of any sticker residue or aging. Either way though, still a very clean example of an awesome g1 figure!

Thanks, I'm really happy with them :)  The guy said he had them since he was a kid, so I doubt any of them are knock offs, just hardly played with. He had a few others too, I might see if I can grab them another time.

I just pulled the stickers off with my fingers and rubbed the sticker residue off with my fingers. I polished them up with a t-shirt.

Let me be the first to welcome you to the hell that is collecting G1!! J/k, but like someone else said, the figures are often times the easy part - it's completing figures and the small accessories that really break your wallet.

    Anyhow, nice grab.

Congrats on your score! The fact that Broadside comes with his rifle is a plus :)  Hunting the ax and the two missiles can be a pain, but certainly not impossible.

Nice haul, especially considering that price! Like others have said, it's the accessories and Reprolabels which (might / probably will) set you back just as much as these three cost together, but it would still be worth it.

Of these, I have Broadside and Bombshell. I always get an almost perverse pleasure in Broadside's blockiness: its almost evident that his design was rushed, because there was a lot of room there to have been SO much better. He really doesn't look that bad in any mode; it's just the fact that so little of him actually 'transforms' that hurts him most, in my opinion.

Broadside is like the AMC Pacer of G1, IMHO.
but for $50(C) that's a good deal for those.
    congrats.
    keep on hunting!
