    Was watching last night...

If you watch as the boat goes over the Abyss where Megs is dead laying at the bottom of the Ocean, watch the vehicles on the boat as it approaches.

There's one Yellow (Scrapper - Bulldozer)
    Mixmaster
    Rampage
    and Longhawl

Yet when it switches back before they jump in the water... the (Scrapper) yellow bulldozer... is now an escavator... the Volvo escavator thing.

So they totally switched fro the Bulldozer to the escavator??? What the hell?

Then they ripped that same character apart at the bottom of the ocean. They messed up!

    Editing screwed that up!

Mattumus, the film is a giant cluster**** of an action/adventure. There's enough mistakes be they from editing, bad writing, laziness, you name it, to last scrutinizers until the next one comes out in '11.

But thanks for bringing that particular one up. We can add it to the list.

    There's a list, right?

That list has to be at least 2 pages long. I've rarely seen a movie with so many screw ups, mistakes and continuity errors.

    Wait a minute:

Why do we dismiss the errors from ROTF, while pickinging apart G1 and holding it up as crap?

It makes more sense that the tracks of the revived Megatron came from the yellow Volvo excavator. Scrapper has no tracks and he has wheels.

    lol that's funny actually

maybe they thought that since there were so many errors in the g1 cartoon the would pay homage to it by doing the same with this one:)

And yes there should be a list.

I mean... these are little stupid easy fix kind of things... there was a big rush at the end though.

maybe we'll get lucky and there will be a extended edition DVD with all the stupid crap and hole cut out:)

    O

because g1 is often held up as being an icon of greatness, whereas rotf is generally regarded as being entertaining only despite its reams of flaws

Not sure if this was discussed, but wasn't the head general in ROTF the same general/colonel that died in the SOCENT base attack in the fisrt movie?

If you read the preface in the limited edition of the novel there is a footnote by the author's podiatrist that says he reformats before they jump in.

or I just made that up to fill in a plot hole. Like multiple constructicons, Blacko...I mean Grindor. Bonecrusher just driving through the scene etc etc. You'll go crazy finding them all. They are like Pokemon!

Sweet I feel a new sig coming on!

    Occasionally.
Yet G1 is equally held up as an example of what Transformers shouldn't be- and why we need a live action movie-verse to fix all the mistakes.

    Doubtfull.
They'll see what makes them more money and continue the same...formula?...

The actor was the same, but the characters were different. They just liked him so much they brought him back.
