I think someone once told me that fort max could be linked to some micromaster stuff, however, I'm not entirely sure if I am remembering correctly. Could someone please clarify this for me? I tried wiki, google, and the resource section here and found no mention of it. Also, I know metroplex and trypticon can link up with the combiner torsos, any chance of a Scorponok link gimmick too?

    thanks

AFAIK Fortress Maximus does not link up with Micromasters in any sort of "official" way. Fort Max came out several years before MM.

The ramps on Max are more scaled to today's scouts and deluxes than to micros. Micros fit on him of course, but it's overkill. My Classics Autobots live on him in city mode :)

Very cool! I throw a bunch of the G1 Legends on him from time to time as well!

I think you're thinking of JP G1 Metrotitan...it came with a ramp of some kind that allowed you to hook it up to some of the Micromaster bases.
The Metrotitan/Metroplex mold goes really well with the first four fusilateral quintocombiner leaders (Motormaster, et al).
