If that mold gets reissued, how much do you think it would go for? i think five hundred would work fine. i mean what youre paying for with the private sellers is essentially the accessories and the price of over a grand was made by the fans. we know that takara could make alot more than 500 dollars, but i think it would be a rip off, especially since it IS a reissue.

Nah, it won't be USD $500. No worries on this point here.

    I'm guessing USD $200 max. :D

Brave Max didn't cost $500 at retail, so why would the same mold?

Yeah, I'd say at retail, max. $200. Probably less, maybe $150. If it were a Hasbro re-issue, I cant see them pricing it any more than $150 USD and more then likely around the $100 mark. If it was Takara, by the time you could get it from a state-side vendor (online or otherwise), I could see it being in the $200 area.

Hasbro wont release Fort Max because of the dreaded drop test, so that eliminates their reissue. On the other hand, Takara already released Brave Maximus,so maybe down the road if this economy ever gets back on track we might have a chance at a reissue.

A KO for Fort Max is rumored to be release later this year, but a price has not been announced.

My guess is $200 to $300 range if it actually gets released.

If they actually want it to sell, then yes the max would have to be at $200.

hard to say for Hasbro. If they can get the figure to pass Drop Tests, they could concievably release him in the future (using better grade plastic). The price will probably be about $100 to $150. However, Hasbro should try to make a new mold for Fort Max, though not as big

I'd hate to be the guy asked to do the testing. I can see the toy passing the test taking a while.

Regulator: You gotta drop this Fortress Maximus at least 6ft. We have to see if if breaks.
    Tester: But it's Fortress Maximus!
Regulator: That's right. We have to drop test it.
Tester: Wait, you want me to drop it? On the floor?
    Regulator: Yes, drop it now.
    Tester: But, it might break.
Regulator: That's the point of the test.
Tester: Couldn't we just keep it? It's Fort Max after all, who knows when we'll see one in this condition again.
    Regulator: Drop the damn toy!!
Tester: You do realise what you are asking me to do here?
Regulator: Do it, or we kill this puppy...
    Tester: Goodbye little dog.

I'd pay $200. For an official encore release, anything under $150 and I'm buying one for MISB and one to open. For some reason I just can't see it happening though. The only way I can see it happening is if it and Prediking get reissued at the same time, so I don't have money for both. I just can't see something that happening without a personal downside for me.

Considering you have to pay $100 for Encore Metroplex who's less than half the size, I'd peg a Fort Max Encore closer to $250. The molds are a lot more complicated, there's more parts, and packaging and shipping size would add to it, too.

Good point, your looking at $200 for him, If I remember, wasnt Brave Maximus $150 at that time it was release? It was a while ago. Takara still has the mold, but is it cost effective for them to realease it. Wouldnt it be something if they released him with Scorponok, Deja Vu all over again. I had to decide as a 10 year back then and I choose Scorponok.......man
