Hey, when you\'re winning you\'re winning. Never been a scalper. I have no interest or need for that. I just love the hunt, even to the point of picking up the same hard to find item that I had previously scored. That way I can keep one MIB and one on display. In the case of the Fort Max pick-up, I now have enough to keep the SDCC MIB, the first retail version I bought also MIB and one for display, all while gifting my nephew one. Just thought I\'d share my experience with fellow fans. I\'m sorry your trek to over a dozen different Ross\' in the LA and Orange County area has been unfruitful. But good luck anyway. It\'ll be that much more rewarding if and when you find one. Merry Christmas.

So did anyone get an extra they want to part with? I have about 20 Ross's nearby and they all turned up didly squat. My local most store had them in the back apparently while I was there, then the next morning put them out and somebody came in and bought BOTH...FML...

 

Tell me about it, I chose to go to the wrong ross last Friday morning. If I would have chosen this other one there was reports of it there. I think we are SOL. There went probably 20 bucks worth of gas. Lol

 

I've checked six Orlando-area Ross stores since Saturday, to no avail. Eventually found Fort Max at a TRU, but they refused to price-match, even though I showed up ready with a printout of a different TRU receipt where someone got the price-match, and two photos of the box with the Ross price tag on it.

 

Props for trying. I can't believe it worked for somebody else. I guess the answer is always no until you ask

 

I think right now some stores who have astute employees already bought some to scalp and now either u have to go to stores where it's way out in the boonies or pray after xmas another wave of dumps from Walmart target or toysrus

 

I've come to that conclusion as well. I'm not holding my breath on more fort max. I lucked out getting a fruiticus, so I should be greatfull for that

 

Is "Fruiticus" the gaudy G2 Bruticus? Because I found one of those for my friend's kid on Saturday.

 

ha, yup. That's the one. I might try to sell my cw g1 and g2 for a UW Bruticus

Have these hit the East Coast yet? I've not found them in any of the few ROSS stores near me.

 

I REALLY hate that name. It's G2 Bruticus. Heck, even G2Brut would be better. "Fruiticus" is a manifestation of people's terror of color. Think about how only sports cars or hybrids get bright colors, while everything else is a shade of gray.

Oh yeah, Bruticus now has lots of colors - let's mock the sh*t out of it because colors are too loud to put on toys!
