Just curious here, how does Fort Max rank on the all-time biggest toys manufactured by Hasbro? .... or even all-time overall? Anyone know or have an idea where to find out? Edit: Come to think of it, it's probably pretty far down the list
the flagg and the new avengers heli carrier are bigger i think, still confused why they can't add some reinforcements to the parts that failed the drop test and rerelease him, the heli's gotta be just as bad
Its not so much reinforcements, but rather overall design. As parts of the helicarrier are made to pop apart and not just break.
Don't forget the Joe Headquarters. There was also a big MLP playset. In newer stuff theres the Star Wars Millennium Falcon, AT-AT, AT-TE, Clone Turbo Tank, the new Droid Transport, and the GI Joe Pit. Theres also the big pony and triceritops big enough for kids to climb on. Going by weight Max might be the heaviest but he wouldn't crack the top ten or maybe even top 20 in biggest.
The USS Flagg was seven feet long by four feet wide and about 2 feet high. Making it THE LARGEST Hasbro toy ever manufactured. The Power of the Force Millenium Falcon was about 2 Feet across Making it Big and unweildy and still smaller than the AT-AT toy Hasbro/Kenner Produced (Which is about 3 feet tall). You cannot really count many of the vintage Star Wars Playsets since they were produced by Tonka/Kenner and not Hasbro.
It's not the breaking that's the issue. It's the way it breaks..into sharp shards. It would have to be re-engineered to avoid shard shape breaks.
I think the Flagg may win on sheer surface area......but the Defiant had a lot of mass to it as well. Whilst i've never seen the Helicarrier in person.... i get the distinct impression it just lacks the afore mentioned mass, long , narrowish, flat, with relatively little detailing. They're both big, it's just that Hasbro have made toys which are probably bigger.
I wanna see some pics of this stuff you guys are talking about. The flagg I've seen before. Just the other day i was at the comics store and they had a huge gi joe hovercraft type boat that I've never seen before.
I have both and they're indeed larger than my Brave Max. Brave Max is heavier than the AT-AT though. Another toy I own that dwarfs the Fort Max mold is the Star Wars Episode 1 Royal Starship. It's 3 feet long.
