The head reminds me of Gundam or Macross more than anything, but this is a very wonderful piece nonetheless. Well done.

The head was inspired by some G2 bots (who had just one crosslike vizor down the middle). Wanted it to be a bit knight like. :)

Woah... despite the head not looking like a head, I guess it somehow reminds me of Whirl? Anyway, I'm digging the design, especially because of the alternate mode was in the actual movie (ROTF). :D  Good job!

Thanks Josh :)  And about being scared... man sometimes I was just putting the pen down and run off, because I knew I couldn't redo the line and just didn't know if it'd be the right thing to do. xD

Was one big experiment really. :)  But it paid off in the end though! Since this was the final drawing for an university course, the grade for this (8/10) got the average back to a decent 7/10. I had experimented a lot with the other assignments which resulted in 6.5/10 and 7/10s, mostly because I set myself up to make mistakes (and thus get the feedback for it). So I was pleased overall. :)

Just wish I had more time to experiment for myself, but so many project related stuff going on that I can't draw outside of drawing classes really... :(  Even had to put a commission on hold after not being able to do any work on it beyond some semi-worked out composition sketches. :(
