Just throwing this out there, maybe something you havn't thought of yet, but demolishers tires make a great neck. Simply unscrew them, and push them together with a homemade pin. (I made my pin out of an allen key) I just set the wheels on the rest of the body there, but they could easily be attatched properly, and a ball joint used on the two wheel pieces to make them posable. I may even pick up a few more loose constructicons to eventually build a figure of my own, but I just thought I would post this anyways incase anyone else wanted to try. I thought it looked pretty neat.
COol! can the wheels spin though? If it could that'd be awesome if someone could add a vortex to it and make the wheels spinXD
I just stuck them over top of the wheelmounts to hold them in place, but if you mounted them properly, they could spin yep
Actually this is a great start I will offer some information on details about the demolishor. 1. You can reverse the arms by unscrewing them at the round base. 2. Also, if you purchase small plastic piping like the ones used in spray bottle, along with what's called plastic needles for kids, they make the perfect ratio for the hydraulics, I created a set however it was unsucssesfull thanks to my dogs dying love for all things small. 3. You could also pin mixmaster to the back pegs of demolishor through his tires I believe, I will have to purchase the figure to really take a look, however all constructicons aren't in voyager form just yet
You know, if you flip that upside down you can have the cab on the right half of his chest like in the movie, and then use Mixmaster to fill out the upper half...Hrmn.
Dude, make it happen! It's about time someone tried it, instead of paying so much attention to that 'other one'.
Lol unfourtanetly no, as you can see though he wouldn't be able to anyways if you were looking to build a decent figure out of these you would have to kitbash like a SOB to get anywhere. Which i'm thinking if i should just do a 100% down to scratch devastator....but i have no clue where to find the kits needed and i really want to have them all at the least 1:24 scale...so pretty fricking big lol
Actually, I was wondering about transforming after a mere arm swap.I know it wouldn't be able to transform after doing the 'tube neck' mod.
well, um why don't you try building it off cardboard first. I built a 2007 megatron out of cardboard, it was a bit unstable, but at least it looked like what it was supposed to and could transform. I am sure it would have been sturdier if i could cure it off plastic. I've seen some kitbashers on here build figures my actually curing the plastic themselves. I don't know how expensive that is though.
