I know you have to enter a code into the activision site and then you get the code to put in your xbox/ps3. How many digits was the code you put into the activision site?

the reason i ask is that i just bought a jazz code off ebay, and i think it may be europe only. It's also possible that the seller didn't send me the code yet and i'm looking at something else thinking it's the code. so can someone PM me a used code so i can compare it to the one i think i have? being that you used it already you have nothing to worry about.

Codes are a one time redeem, they only work once.

You really have to redeem the code on the Activision site then on the console?

Seems needless... if the codes are unique then there's no reason to put the extra step in.

This needs stressing a LOT. These codes are single use in every sense of the word; If you reformat your hard drive or delete the extra content for any reason, you most likely will NOT be able to use the code again.

If you are on the 360 you can re-download the content again via your download history.

As you said though, the codes are useless once redeemed.

On the PS3 you can re-download anything to your account as many times as you want. The code takes the place of the price.

One you pay the price for the rights to the content, they are attached to your account.

    Nothing to worry about.

Aha! That I didn't know; I thought that once they'd been used you couldn't get the content again if you had to reformat or got a different machine. Thanks!

how do we know the redeem codes are one time only? the ones on the card are but what about the ones given out from the website to enter on the xbox/PS3?

Then why do multiple people need to pre-order the game. one person in the whole world just needs to do it and he can then share the code online. That's a great business practise to get more people to buy your game.

    Think.

Don't forget though, this wasn't the case with Activison and the Juggernaut Pre-Order code at all. The same code worked for everyone. Even those who didn't Pre-Order it. Your barb above was EXACTLY what happened with that code, everyone shared it online so Activison took down the site early.
