This is just an idea, but could you buy things at EB Games with it and then sell them on eBay for a profit, rather than take a hit on selling just the gift card via eBay?

He probably exploited trades by being a former employee.

I'm just talking from experience o_o;; My best friend got a PS3 for 100 dollars through trade exploits while being an employee...he's all the time looking for ways to exploit the system >.>

It's a shame you couldn't split up your stuff when getting credit instead of doing it in one fell swoop! Unfortunately, I have the dough but the last thing I need is $580 in games. :p

I don't understand why people would buy a giftcard for a store and then go spend the giftcard when they can just not buy the giftcard and then go spend the cash anywhere instead of just 1 store.

Exactly. It would have to be better than 20 bucks difference.

well, as he said he traded in old games and systems to get the 580 from gs, even a 20 price difference could mean 1 or 2 extra games along with a new system and a ton of other games.

i've known knockoff for years now and i'll vouch for him, he's a good guy and doesn't work for gamestop, lol.
