For once... Humans in a Transformers franchise are generally useful.

Really... if it's one thing that surprises me about the show... is that the *kids*, of all things, are actually helpful to the bots.

I've grown to hate humans in TF since the Unicron Trilogy... then the movie Trilogy made it worse... In fact, they weren't particularly useful in G1 now were they? Anyway...

If handled right, they seem useful.

Cybertron had semi-useful humans who were entertaining somewhat (Lori and Coby, Bud was kinda just there)

What really should surprise you, is a fact, that the second occasionally met guy, child, turned to be a genius.
And their physical qualification could have you surprised, as well.

The children in Prime remind me of Shuta, Cab, and Minerva from Masterforce.

I agree with you for the most part.

And you may dislike the humans in the movieverse, but lumping them in the "useless" category is rather the opposite of how they're portrayed. If anything they're too useful.

I agree. I love humans in the show. They help out and except for Miko and sometimes Raf they aren't in your face.

    Agent Fowler is best Human.

I want to see more of Vogel.

    John Dimaggio ftw.

And Fowler is really growing on me.

That's an aspect I like about this show; the humans don't feel as forced and they're usually doing something for a legitimate reason.

Still waiting for Miko to do something not annoying though. It's either Leeroy Jenkins or have a stupid line once an episode.

Miko can be useful. She's energetic, loud, irritating and she stands out on the battlefield.

Perfect for target practice, Fusion cannon fodder and make shift Autobot foot rest.

Well it depends on which Human you are talking about. Some humans are as useful to a Human can be to the Transformers. While others can be replaced with a Trained Monkey and the Monkey already makes a better contribution.

Raf is finally starting to grow on me but I still can't comprehend how he can understand Bumblebee.

...well... given that in DotM SS was killed by leboof... I suppose so..? *facepalm*

Maybe I should say they're not "forced" as another poster said. The kids and Fowler fit quite well into the fray...

I only really like Jake. Miko is the sort of person who gets on my nerves in real life, and Raf... lord he he can understand BB for no reason and can program super viruses in minuets, a virus for alin software ran on alin hardware... Because umm he likes computers? That makes that believable right?

Yeah, see, people seem to dislike certain human characters in Transformers fiction because they're useless. But then they're also hated in other series because they're too efficient. There's a happy-medium that needs to be met, and I agree that TFP seems to fit the bill. The "forced" example is a much better way of putting it, yes. :)  They're useful, but they're not solving everything themselves.

The humans are helpful at times, other than Miko who can be/is annoying at times.

For once, the main kid (Jack) seems to be well done: serious, responsible and with enough sense to stay away from trouble...except when the situation demands him to take the spotlight and do something clever and brave for the sake of others.
Plus, he is voiced by Josh Keaton.

They're alright. Fowler and June stand out the most to me though. Speaking of which, where is June? Stopped checking in after Unicron almost killed them all?
