Went in looking to buy Ironhide and maybe one deluxe or real gear. Saw the shelves overflowing with Ironhide and only one Blackout (who's next on my list) so grabbed Blackout instead. Ironhide's next week. Also grabbed the two camera bots from the real gears. It was tempting to grab all the real gear bots. They look really cool for their size.

My wife is a hard-core Starscream fan-girl, we had Starscream in our hands but decided to pass for now. He's on the "maybe later" list at the moment.

Heard two guys very upset that there were no Megatrons in stock.

It pained me to have to put Screamer back on the shelf, as he's been my personal favorite since G1..but I'm sure I won't have trouble getting a hold of him next time I go shopping for toys.

I was surprised how few people (read: none) were looking at/through the stock they had..I don't think anyone else had picked anything up before me o_O

I never really considered the Real Gear line. They look nice, but I dunno...Seeing them in person did make me like them a bit more though.

How is Blackout by the way?

I was fairly pissed I saw NO voyagers today. Lack of voyagers made me walk away with Brawl and Spyshot 6... Had there been voyagers, I would have added Ironhide, Starscream, and possibly some deluxes to the 'bought' list.

I picked up voyager ss, ironhide, and leader optimus

I'd say pass on ironhide unless your a complietist.

But starscream and leader optimus are the best transformers i've goten in a long time, if they made optimus out of die-cast he could eaisly pass as a masterpiece.

Havent opened the real gears yet.

When I got to Target, they were still setting up the TF display (and looked to be in no great hurry), so most of the toys were still in boxes. D'oh! If it had just been me I would have waited it out, but as my wife and her friend were there as well I didn't want to make them wait around just so I could buy some toys.

So the only things I managed to snag were a Ratchet and a Blackout (the only two that had been unboxed).

Ah well.... it'll just stretch out the hunting fun a bit. I don't want to get everything all at once anyway. Though I did sort of hope to find Starscream, Swindle, and Bonecrusher. And some Robot Heroes.

How much is the Blackout/Scorponok two pack anyways?

Oh, and had Walmart actually had that damned Barricade/BB two pack I may have managed to be able to pick up SS too >_<

I got Leader Prime, Wreckage, and Speed Dial. Passed on, uh, well everything else that Target had. I can only spend so much in one day sadly.

I purchased every one of what I consider 'the mainline' movie stuff. Leaders, Voyagers, Deluxes. No FABs, no Cyberstompers, no legends, no basic repaints, etc. Although I did grab Bumblebee Unleashed and all of the Robot Heroes and the Optimash Prime. Too cool to resist.

Blackout pretty much rules the world, but I got a thing for hulking Decepticons with whirling blades of death.

Those FABs look absolutely incredible in person, and if I weren't severely restricting my purchases on this line, I probably would have grabbed the lot of them. It was also hard to walk away with only two of the real gear bots.

Target also has the exclusive robovision prime, snagged that one too. Target has leader prime for 44.99 and tru has it for 39.99, i bought both, but will be returning my target one. I do like that bumblebee unleashed statue...i might pick him up later, my bill came out to about just over $150 today...:( , it was worth it...

Ok let's see. Got up and went to Walmart a 6AM. Took a cart because I knew I'd need it. Bought:

    Starscream
    Blackout
    Ratchet
    Optimus
    Longview
    Booster
    Zoom out
    Power up
    Spyshot
    Speed Dial

and 3 of the robot heroes packs (need something to get later :D )

Then went to Target and opened all my toys and played with them for and hour and a half. Went inside Target and bought Robo Vision Prime.

Grand total for the day about $200. Me am broke.

I got Ironhide, Ratchet, Starscream, and Leader Prime.

I was least impressed with Starscream, he feels like an armada toy to me. Simple, blocky, fairly simple transformation IMO. Shitty alt mode.

Ironhide is kick-ass, Prime as well, and Ratchet is solid.

I spent waaaaaay too much money so far on these things. Some of them I got early through Brian's Toys... but, whatever.

    Blackout
    Ironhide
    Ratchet
    Starscream
    Robo Vision Prime
    Leader Prime
    Jazz
    Bumblebee
    Bonecrusher
    Barricade
    Brawl
    Wreckage
    Scorponok

    Prime Helmet
all the Robot Heroes (thinking about returning)
Unleashed Bumblebee (also thinking about returning)

I passed on all the Real Gear stuff... I don't know why but I've never paid attention to any of them, even on here in the past 6 months and whatnot.

What a day though. I'm only 20 years old so this was m y first huge toy release thingy. What a rush, eh? :rock
