I basically stopped caring for availability once I got a Binaltech toy, so I didn't follow this. All I remember is that prices for Kiss Players Hot Rodimus would skyrocket on eBay pretty fast. Were there any other toys that would sell out quickly? I seem to vaguely recall something about BT-03 Streak being rare?

BT-15 Prowl, the Police Version was pretty hot. Maybe BT-16 Skids, not sure.

Police Prowl (Blue still not too common, but not as desirable)
    Skids
Most of the Kiss Play stuff is getting harder to come by
Meister has gotten really hard to get in either color
    Smokescreen GT is pretty tough

Most of them seem to be thinning out though.

yeah, actually prowl went real quick, especially the blue one and I think bta alert did as well. I remember being real glad I got them when I did.

BTA Broadblast is the only one that really sticks out for some reason. Police Prowl is up there as well. White Mesiter I would stick in there too but I find it's only in the last 6+ or so months he's really shot up in price.

Yes and no. He was widely available for a long wile after it came out, it was only much later when there was this large scramble for him and the supply dried up when prices skyrocketed. I talked to a lot of people about him when he first came out and it seemed to me everyone was always taking this "oh I'll wait and get him later, no big rush" attitude. That and people were still in the "ZOMG underage gilZ TFs" stage and refused to pick any of them up.

For those of you who may not know:

What *may* make some of the variants in Binaltech hard to find is the fact that
they didn't change the overall quantity in a shipping case where more than one version of a character was released at the same time.

For instance : A case of BT05 Dead End would contain 4X Dead Ends, each the same.

A case of BT07 Meister however would contain 2X Red Meisters and 2X White Meisters.

(I think Takara shipped Binaltechs are 4 per case?)

    Binaltechs shipped six per case.

Variants shipping at the same time (i.e. Smokescreen #7/#8, Smokescreen GT #1/#2, red/white Meister, blue/police Prowl) came in a 3/3 ratio per case.
