there's no evidence that the allspark shard can do anything. I doubt jazz will be back. I hope he doesnt come back. that'd just cheapen the whole thing even more. The movie cast has proven time and time again that they rarely know what's going on in the movie that they actually starred in.
Jazz will most likely comeback as Blaster! I forgot, how did Blackout and Brawl died in the movie or put in "Stasis Lock"?
Not only that, but Megatron has Jazz's bits for a while before he finally discards them (when Prime turns up). I think we can assume that he wasn't just holding onto them for safe keeping, and probably messed him up even more.
Exactly! I mean why did he say "I don't wan't to spoil it for you all"? That means he knows something?
Maybe he's signed up for the sequel too. I would like to see Jazz be brought back to life, he really got the raw end of the stick for the Autobots.
The tech bio for G1-Jazz mentions him being rebuilt by Ratchet. His death was so shallow in the first film that I doubt his return will cheapen it any, but honestly, he was the one supporting character with any appeal and I think that it'd be a good idea to have him back. According to wikipedia, folks attached with the film have already confirmed his return in a new, augmented body; perhaps he'll return as a new character, or perhaps with a new alt form that actually give him some height.. I dunno, reading all the fairly-substantiated news of his imminent return makes me happy. Jazz is one of my favorite 'bots..
We can't assure that some things will happen in the movies just by reading the tech specs. Remember that stuff about Bumblebee lost voice, and how it didn't fit the the prequel comic book.
Yeah but how do you know that was Starscream? Theres a whole bunch of Seekers in the series so................That was Dirge flying!
So, does anybody else think Jazz's death might've been inspired by that issue late in the Marvel run where Galvatron rips Jazz in half? Probably not, but its a neat coincidence.
The actors may not know the minutia of the movie, but I expect he would know whether he's working on the sequel or not.
You'd have to read it to see how it ended. As for Jazz, issue 67 (I looked it up) appears to get ripped in two by Galvatron, but after looking back I notice a page later he is running around without any trace of the injury (odd, because there were wires and stuff coming outta him). Maybe he healed fast in the comic?
I totally forgot about that issue - great point nonetheless! I'm personally hoping they bring back Jazz. Saw the movie for the second time two days ago and the only part that still bugs me is Jazz's death. Correct me if I'm wrong but I could swear it was Ironhide who diagnosed Jazz's condition, and not Ratchet. And didn't Prime grab the portion of the allspark from Megatron immediately right after remarking "poor Jazz..." as if the idea just popped into his head that he could potentially bring back Jazz. Anyways, even if Ratchet was the one who diagnosed Jazz's condition - I wouldn't give him too much credit. The dumbass couldn't even fix Bumblebee's voice, lol...
and the uk, and Germany, and some other unlucky European fans. i think it might be possible. if Wheeljack comes to Earth and goes about seeing if he can do it
Makes sense that Jazz could return....perhaps they can bring him back and give him a better death next time around.
Bring my main man Jazz back for the sequel also Wheeljack, Prowl, Soundwave, Grimlock, Cliffjumper, Shockwave, Ravage....
