Seriously. It can throw all your body mechanics out of whack. I doubt they gave him any good painkillers. Normally for a sprain they'll give some 600mg ibuprofen and maybe some sort of anti inflammatory to reduce the swelling. You typically need a good break or tear to get the good stuff. But ya never know. Some docs like to throw the good stuff around like it's candy.
