He's still a little short but thankfully not to the point where it's glaring.

Not sure how he'll look next to other CHUG figures. I was planning to display him with the Classics line.

 

I think that SoundBlaster is Voyager sized...right? I forgot the announcement, but if I remember correctly they said that.

EDIT: Oh never mind that is a custom, this is the Voyager one.

It's a redeco of Voyager Soundwave, so yes it's a Voyager.

 

I first knee jerk reaction was the height difference. I feel Shockwave may be a little too short to be SHOCKWAVE. I'm going to hold judgement though, things change in person big time.

 

It's def not purple on my screen, nowhere close to purple. Every pic has the translucent tinted parts as neon pink (eye, chest, gun and painted knee/waist accents).

 

I'm seeing more of a purple. Differing opinions and screen settings you know? No big deal.

 

Dang I actually may get Shockwave to go with my collection, fits really well.

 

Maybe, but most every other pic matches what i see in real life, color wise, on my bots. So I'm guessing this'll be neon pink in RL as well. Def not liking this fig so far.

 

Not bad, not bad at all.

Kinda off here, but then again Shockwave's at an odd angle and Soundwave's legs are weirdly long. Still, they can see eye to eye (so to speak).

Loving the light-piping, even if it's straight-out-of-the-printer magenta.

 

You're right with pink. At least in the photos it's pink and I like it.

Looks like the translucent pink plastic on Rotorstorm and Skram.

Seriously, that actually downgrades him to a maybe in my book.

 

I'd prefer him with his cannon arm, but this will do. And maybe someone makes an addon that get's him closer to his G1 look.

 

I was uncertain about it too, but for reasons I mentioned earlier, I realized this looks like a female version of Shockwave, which is cool, and so I think I'll pick this up.

 

I'll never look at his chest the same way again.

And as far as the hand...paging shapeways artists.

 

I'm telling you, if someone would just put it in a feminine pose it would be obvious.

 

For the hand, why not just clip the gun onto the left hand?

Heck - there might be a way to even slide it over so you can just fold the hand up.
