no real story. just found it on FOC's FB page.
well done guys
FOC deserves it and it was the only thing shown in great detail.
Or in any detail for that matter,
Heck yeah! Good job Tieg and HMS!!!
Not saying it didn't deserve it, I think it did, but is this really a surprise?
HMS and Game Informer are like best buds! Game Informer is who told us of HMS and their Transformers games before anyone else even knew what was going on--they had a full month blitz last November on the game!
Anyway, congrats, HMS--now, go get to work on that Collectors Edition and let next months Game Informer break the news
FOC looks to be more of the same only better. You're right though. Game Informer giving FOC a best in show award is hardly credible given the huge amount of coverage they've already given it.
FOC looks great though.
Yay! Well done.
Still think it deserves the title, most of what I've seen at the E3 coverage is just, not that exciting.
Fall of Cybertron delivered with action, big levels, huge scale, and a lot of hype. I'm honestly thinking it might just make Game of the Year if the Multiplayer and Escalation are just as addicting as they were in WFC.
How are they making it when they're always out promoting it?
Going to feel like Ive played it before it's even released.
Considering I feel Game Informer has about as much integrity as a used roll of toilet paper, I don't really care. I'm sure Activision marketing department loves it so they can make it a bullet point on the game box.
But if Fall wins anything from legitimate gaming journalism then I will celebrate. That said, High Moon already has my money.
It looked better than all the generic FPSes trying to ride off CoD's success, Sony Smash Bros., the dancing games, the storybook, and most of the other crap. The only games I would consider competition would be Assassin's Creed 3, Last of Us, ZombiU, Pikmin 3, and Watch Dogs.
And of those who are competition, not to many of them actually have stage floor demos and other media to actually play. You can wow with a trailer, but with nothing else tangible its hard to gauge anything else. For the two with demos, Assassin's Creed is more of the same but new area. Pikmin 3's demo should probably be the only thing that I would argue to be better, but that's my inner gamer talking from the first two wonderful romps. Plus it only has two timed areas to mess around in from what I saw.
FoC hits home hard with nostalgia (dinobots and Metroplex especially), has multiple hands on demos for both single and multiplayer, and has showcased even more footage and hands off demos. From what I saw they're pushing it pretty hard compared to other games there.
Though I have to admit, this year it isn't really hard to win game of show. This E3 has been the decades worst. It's even worse than the year E3 didn't happen. The showings have been pitiful outside of a few standouts. At best all it was show how much of a joke console games were. It was seriously the best advocate in PC gaming I've seen in a while.
There wasn't much good competition.
it's gonna be an EPIC game !!! Kudos to all the guys who worked their butts off to give us something to look foreward too this year in the gaming world. you all deserve it
This showed better than Last of Us and Star Wars 1313? Bullshit...
best in show?

I was workin down there and unfortunately didn't get to play, but dispite my distaste for the character designs, the game looks freakimg amazing, huge upgrade from the original (which was still pretty nice looking)
Did the crowd seem to take to it pretty well?
Hell yeah!! Eat that Halo 4!!
