    Warning!

The outside tabs on Jazz's arms that lock around the outside of his vehicle mode are VERY weak. Already popped most of one off after his first transformation very carefully. They seem to be very finicky going from vechile to bot mode. Lucklily it didnt pop all the way off and some good super glue reattached it. He'll be sitting next to the rest of the crew on my shelf so I don't have too mch to worry bout.

I'm yet to see FOC Jazz in Target/TRU so I don't want to jump to conclusions, but for wave 1 figure, which is kind of like flagship, I'm not getting the WOW factor like 01 Alternator Smokescreen or recent WFC Optimus.

Ages 5+, folks. They're toys. No reason to Lou Ferrigno the dang things.

This sort of implies that you think children (5 and up) will handle the toys more gently than a collector would. I'm not sure about the children you've met, but as a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade teacher, I can tell you they don't handle much of anything in a gentle manner.

Didn't say a thing about being gentle. Because they won't.

If I'm implying anything, it's that they don't have the physical strength to break a toy 5 minutes out of the package without the aid of a stairway, balcony, or some hard surface.

Now what I was saying is that people shouldn't be manhandling toys. By "people" I mean adults. More or less.

Starting to seem though that it may be an issue with how the figures are packaged.

Nobody's manhandling them. If they're breaking it's because, oh I dunno, the tabs are actually weak?

Saw 3 at a toystore today - 2 of them had the tabs broken off and rattling around in the packaging.

Thanks for making the decision of not having FOC Jazz easier. Almost wanted to get him yesterday but can't bring myself to make the final jump.

Now I can stop looking at him.

Exactly. Something designed for kids should be more resilient than that. And in any case, tabs breaking off during normal transformation is just inexcusable.
