Yes, figure sizes have gone horribly tiny in the last few years.

Well, to be completely fair and to not jump to unfounded conclusions...

RTS/United Jazz was pretty large even among the other new mold deluxes that came out in the RTS subline.

And this is one reason why I'm giving up on new Transformers for good.

Getting to make into Chromedome! excited to try that. Fortunately I don't care about Chromedome's size

Quite. Comparring the two is unfair, however FOPC Jazz isn't exactly a big guy. But it happens. Sizes change all the time. Compare Cybertron figures to classics, then to Animated figures. It's like a roller coster.

I noticed the figures were getting smaller, but damn. I wonder how these FOC figures will look displayed with the older WFC figures. It's going to be pretty weird seeing WFC Bumblebee and Cliffjumper towering over Jazz, Shockwave, and probably even Ultra Magnus...

Shockwave and Soundwave are roughly the same height. Bumblebee will look a bit big but not overly so.

In any case, I don't think it is that terrible. I know they are getting smaller, but it's not like "Scout sized" like I have heard some people throw around. And the detailing looks great. Can't wait to get mine when my preorder comes in.

Same, though honestly, the smaller size doesn't bother me too much.

With the FoC toys, it may be a good thing that they're smaller, so that Optimus and Megs from the previous line will look taller in comparison. I just hope the non-WFC/FoC guys don't look out of place in my Classics collection.

    A lot of people, apparently.

no one who matters. Hyperbole is a great thing. If suddenly those figures were to be cancelled those same people would post on those figures greatness.

Size is whatever, I got used to it. White I don't like is how White he is. He needs his red and blue stripes!

I was excited for the FOC line and originally hyped for Jazz, because he's always been a favorite character. But the smaller size + faux wheels, and lack of detail makes this figure look cheap, and it's all a combo that turned me off. This review does nothing to change my mind.

I've gone from wanting to collect FOC to probably only buying Grimlock & Ironhide for my respective character collections. I hope they look better than Jazz.

Aside from the typical complaint, one member pointed out he's more in scale with WFC Prime. So thats a plus

I'm a little confused about the people who seemingly get upset when others comment about the decrease in size. Yes, it's common knowledge that the TF sizes are being shrunk due to cost issues. However, it's still (and will be fore a long time) jarring to see just how noticeable the size difference is. I understand getting tired of hearing people whine about the smaller sizes, but damn, this is a forum. People come here to make comments on toys, and if the first comment that comes to people's mind when seeing a side by side comparison of two toys who's releases are only separated by less than two years is "Damn, that sure is smaller than the older version", then why is it such a big deal if they say so on a message board?

Sorry, as much as it annoys you to hear people go on and on about the excess of Bumblebees, Hasbro's shitty distribution, and how toys are getting cheaper in quality and smaller, it irks me to have everyone jump in their shit for saying such comments on a public forum...
