I'm willing to bet Optimus will be a new mold as well, considering how he's had a redesign for FoC.

I am excited for this line, I love the FOC designs, especially that Jazz.

About the FOC line and their being 8 announced this year. Is the game not coming out at the end of the year? Could it be that the 8 announced (or hinted at, the 8 may contain Generations figures [I'm confused about the specifics]) are only for 2012 and there will be more to the line in 2013?

 

I've added to the main story that Kapow Toys have confirmed a May release date!

....now the waiting begins.

 

GENERATIONS - YAY!

FoC Optimus - Booooooo. Sure it was probably inevitably but yuck what a waste of a limited number of Gen spots.

FoC Jazz - Knew we were getting it but MEH. RtS did him perfect. Can't see ever needing another Jazz. Could maybe be saved by a working winch grapple but probably a pass.

FoC Shockwave - Finally a winner. God I hope this is a cool toy. Shockwave is conspicuously missing from my Classics shelf. Would have prefered a Voyager, but I'll take a tall deluxe. Please look awesome.

I don't like Optimus design, but I never got WFC Prime and if this figure is just as good quality wise, I may pick it up.

You never know, and I hope this is the case. Would make sense too. TFPRID for most of 2012, maybe movie toys in the first half, then FOC Generations in the second half and continuing into 2013.

 

What is shockwave's altmode in FOC. Never played the game.

sweetness. not gonna lie, i'm more excited for Shockwave than Jazz and Prime but will likely snatch all them up.

 

I'm just excited that this is a new "classics/generations" line that will run alongside Prime RiD eventually. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesnt make it out till fall though, and the "movie trilogy" line is early spring/summer.

 

All three bought (assuming Prime is a new mold)!
