Given Has/Tak's penchant for repaints galore... it's a surprise it wasn't. I'd also keep Skytread's little Titan Master weapon/vehicle thing. It's like... body damage/destroyed? Hop on the gun and fly away. Shame many of the little TR figures that could have gotten full body repaint/retools never did. Wasted opportunity, I'd say.
The Titan Master head I used for a previous Flywheels I did as a Triple Changer from TR Megatron. I was gonna use the canopy but it was way to small to look good..... it got panted though... lol
Been lurking for a long time. Ive been trailing all the stuff you do have been amazing since you joined. Whenever I see the FF games in cased background, I get excited to be absolutely blown away with what you come up with. Keep up the awesome work dude! Edit: my grammar is terrible
That part originally had a pin, I removed and modified the piece a bit so it flush with the chest in robot mode. Unknown to me at first that pin alone does not hold the canopy part in place, there are some slits where the canopy slides in as well, those are enough to hold the canopy firmly in jet mode
Love it. Great job. Now just extend his ramps in his feet and maybe he will finally have large enough feet not to be killed off ! Damn that upset me... awesome work yet again
You sir, are one of my faves on this site! Great job on this one! As far as scale goes, it all depends on what u want. IMO, this guy scales just fine if u base it on his G1 toy commercial animation. Right at the beginning you have either Hot Rod or possibly Rodimus Prime jumping on his back and whichever it is, Flywheels is bigger. My intended Flywheels will be made from a TR Megs, but this works sooooo much better. Thanks for sharing!
When I first saw the original commercial I did noticed how much bigger Flywheels was, for which he should be been made up of TWO vehicles... I did make a Triple changer Flywheels from TR Megs back around April
I saw your Megs conversion and that was also sweet. My intended custom will use a TR Megs that I will ironically "de- jet-ify" and will have a separate jet that pseudo partforms into armor of sorts. Think Centurions from the 80s or Fire Convoy in Super mode. My Flywheels will use a T30 Roadbuster and a helicopter that does the same. Note that I said "intended"..... I don't produce my customs very quickly.
Great work. This custom single-handed convinced me to keep Sky Shadow. Really nice custom for a character that will probably not see a release, official or otherwise.
