World’s first flying car set for sale by 2011 [Video]
That thing is so practical, I think I'm going to stop wearing shoes.
I don't know... do you really think flying cars will... well... fly off car lots?
There have been times in the past they tried to sell flying cars to the masses, and nobody was interested in buying them.
Call me when it's a Nick Fury hovercar....
I'll wait for the FantastiSoapdish.
I was hoping for something with VTOL capabilities. I can't land a plane in a parking lot.
Awesome. Now they just need to make it turn into a boat as well.
Someone threw their hat over the wall for mankind
Well it's about fucking time.
That is frickin scary considering that apparently Women in China, can't even park normal cars...
Won't take off.
If it were me, I'd NEED to see VTOL implemented.
But anyways, I would much rather see a high speed rail line implemented in North America, to make travelling safer than going inside a speeding metal d***o flying thousands of feet in the air...
I see what you did there...
They'll have their own parking lot with 100-foot-wide parking spaces for 30-foot-wide flying cars.
Don't forget the soothing colors that appeal to womens tastes.
Every space should have a vanity at the front, and a shoe rack.
Darn, and I was really hoping for a Jetsons style glass dome deal.
Guess I'll just stick to my jet-pack, then.
still waiting on my Thundercougarfalconbird.......
I got to get me one of those. My commute to work is a grueling five miles.
To be followed shortly thereafter by the world's first flying car crash.
I don't trust many people to safely drive normal cars, lets alone flying ones.
But this isn't really what most people picture when they say "flying car". This is more like a streetworthy small plane. In fact, isn't this effectively being sold only to licensed pilots?
Mind you, if we can throw a robot mode in there we've got a for-real triple changer.
I'll agree it is pretty neat but not cost effective for everyone that wants to buy one but only for pro pilots and for the rich that can afford it. We need floating cars.
