One Trypticon at the Sanford TRU.

Almost bought him but my head won out over my heart.

(Then again, if I didn't have to spend nearly 900 dollars rebuilding the AC in my car a few weeks ago I probably would have got him anyway, lol....)

I did find my Fort Max at Ross for 55 bucks. I would say around Thanksgiving last year. He was not even on my radar, l was aware of the figure but not interested at 129.oo He is still boxed and l am leaning towards using him as a base figure for a Tidal Wave custom.

Hasbro screwed up, IMO, with Trypticon being 150 but Fort Max being 129.

Fort Max is bigger and has more bells and whistles, not to mention it was a retool and repaint of the Metroplex figure, which many people were never able to get.

Trypticon needs to be 100 dollars.

Hell, Chaos on Velocitron was 100 dollars and i considered that a good price for the market.

Maybe some 3P company will make bigger legs with better hips and a taller stance, new upsized arms and and head wouldn't make for a bad kit actually. If it bump him up 3 inches overall he would scale well

Neither here nor there, but I got the Leader class version of CW Skywarp at Ross for $19.99 last year on Black Friday.

And yet, Targets are STILL trying to schlep them for the full 45 dollar price.

    Pathetic.

Bigger legs with the electronics to make him walk like the original.

I could possibly get behind that one for 150 dollars.

    Maybe.

Who the hell am I kidding ?

I waited until EE had them for 90 dollars last Christmas.

But CW Devastator was a good deal at 150 dollars when you consider the fact that it is 6 voyager figures that go for 25-30 dollars each anyway.

I was glad to spend the money on him, TBH.

However, Devastator also didn't have some of the bad reviews on the engineering and the size like Trypticon has.

    Of course not.

Just a matter of time, IMO.

Devastator sold well and Hasbro has taken notice.

I can 2nd that. My wife found him the week before Christmas at a Ross. Same situation...was not on my radar but could not pass on the price. As a matter of fact, someone on this board found him in either May or June for a little less than that ($40ish) at Ollies. I have yet to see any Titans in those stores. Mainly RID and Rescue Bots.

No TLK leaders or wave 2 voyagers yet at Waterford Lakes Toys R Us. The only new things I saw were some Menasor-ish RiD combiner sets, and some kind of gray TLK Optimus 1 or 3 step changer looking thing with a USB cable sticking out the side.
