Here's what I overpaid for today at my local flea market:

I got all of the above for $33. I spent too much.

    Anybody else find anything today?

I got a lonely Legends Sunstorm for 10p. :p  Car boot sale season is slowly winding down here so pickings seem to be getting sparse.

Primus is missing the cyber key thing, missles, and a plate that goes on a hinge in the back. I actually had the missing plate a few weeks ago but sold it as part of a junkers/parts lot. I'm trying to get it back now. Funny how things happen like that.

I hated Gobots when I was a kid in the 80's. In my neighborhood, you were actually made fun of if you had them instead of Transformers. But after seeing Tux today, he won me over. It's a pretty sweet mold with the Rolls Royce limo and top hat. Oh well, I guess I'm a loser now - I own a Gobot. :lol

Actually, Gobots were out first, and they were damn cool when there was nothing to compare them too.

Sniped a Galaxy Convoy from Galaxy force at a local Value Village. Set me back $8, which isn't that bad, considering he was missing 3 missiles, his matrix, cyber planet key, his gun and the thingy that goes on the right cannon in super mode. Transforms nice and no major issues.

I don't think $33 was too much, you'd pay a lot more for that lot on Ebay or even on here with shipping and what not.

I don't plan on keeping him. I'm gonna cap my Gobots collection at 1. I already feel like a loser for having one...:D

I forgot to mention this in my first post. Talking to sellers at the flea markets is half the fun in making the trip One guy was selling a loose Animated Prowl for $2. When I balked at the price, the seller justified the price by saying that Prowl was in the movies. I said "Really?" He went on to say "Yep. He was in both of the movies actually." Good stuff.

I'd pay $2 for Animated Prowl. Hell, I'd pay $2 for just about any TF that isn't Armada Sideswipe.

And screw what everybody thinks about Go-Bots. I had several, enjoyed them, and didn't care what anybody thought of them. My parents gave them to me, and that was enough for me.

What the hell's going on with all the Gobots bashing? When compared with tfs in the same price range and size they win by a mile.

We're joking. I actually like the Gobots WWII planes (Zero etc.) If I ever see them, I'll definitely buy them. I'll give Gobots credit - some of the alt modes that they used were unique.

Back to the original topic, I went back this morning and bought a box of beast wars (mostly junkers) for $2. I'll post a pic later today.

I also saw a beat up Sam's Club yellow Optimus Prime. Man, I wish it was complete.

GoBots were fun to bash as a kid, but looking back, they weren't that bad, and the show was entertaining. The toys were inferior to TF's, but as a whole, they weren't that bad. Certainly better than a lot of this crap kids are watching/playing with today
